First difficulty overcome, and for now Swift remains well up there in the GC. If we get the victory in the next stage then we can think about a good final classification.

Oh come on, how bad are the sprints this year? We should have had the yellow jersey by now.
Congratulations to Swift, he deserved that one.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Now that's a pity for Oram! But happy to see him active again. Might not be only one stage win for him this season

Nice and quiet sprint stage, just how I like it. Congrats on the win fintas. May Swift bring you more of those this year.

Claeys, Selander and Ivanov beating Vesely in a sprint, someone must be sabotaging him!

First win of the season, and one of the objectives for this race is achieved. It would be great if the next stage ended up being run in the same way as stage 2, so that Swift would have a chance to achieve a good result in the GC. Green jersey is also still an objective but for that we need a good result in the last stage.

I don't mind Gaviria losing this race, I will however strongly object to Waeytens winning this race..

I'll admit it, I came to this discussion thread just to see your reaction. I sympathize with your plight.

And I needed to wait more than a month to see his reaction on that stage.
No idea, same rider different team. Sometimes this works wonders. Waeytens wouldn't be the first in mg history.
Also the GCN duo for once both in the first group. In especially Dowsett a similar cases as Waeytens in last couple seasons. |

12th overall for Claeys is not that bad, just a huge step backwards from last season. The decline is too much to be competitive

Good work from my team, especially Swift, who in a race with two hills satges can end up in the top 15 as well as winning the green jersey.

Another good effort from Borges. Just a shame it wasn't enough to clinch the victory, but it's definitely a pleasing result and performance.

Well Schultz with a much better result! Im still not sure why he was in the breakaway in stage 2 when this stage is identical and he gets top 15. Still, could be worse. Lets look to the final day tomorrow and hope that Wippert still has something in those legs.

Thanks roturn for the reports, congrats jaxika and Waeytens for succeeding Claeys. An average race for us, Claeys with a decent-ish GC position but Vesely continues to disappoint me for whatever reason. Hopefully the next races without hilly stages go better for him.

Well done guys
This was a great race for the team, not only did we achieve the objectives we had set ourselves, but we also managed to put 3 riders in the top 20 of the GC.
Swift was in great shape, 2 stage victories, the green jersey and to end he managed to finish in an honorable 12th place in the GC.
Kupfernagel and Tzortzakis did an excellent job of placing Swift throughout the race, proving that we have the capacity to form a good sprint train throughout the season.
congrats jaxika for the win and thanks for the reports Roturn
