Aaah, hard to see how anyone can choose Omloop over Viana do Castelo but here you go - GVA ftw for Viano then!
From HQ schedules and seeing this startlist, it's looking like Viano is gonna end up being more of a CT race with VSB thrown in.
Altur is also rocking up in Fake-Spain
I'd say I'm happy to hear it, but I'm not.

Did I make a wrong call by relying on a sprinter as my lead cobbler?

As the reporter of the glorious Viana do Castelo thing, I come to inform you of its correct spelling, of which you guys have made to sound like the son of a violin and a piano. Shame on you!
On this Omloop event we bring our dreams-crusher, Havik, in whom we deposit a great deal of (probably unfounded) hopes.
May god have mercy on your souls.

My cobbles squad is finally fully ready, I got them as level ones so many seasons ago to support Summerhill....

I did the dobule booking thing by accident when I chose my races so I ahve stuck Kump in here, which might be a mistake come end of the season.

Good it wasn't only me :-p
Go Trentin! Should be a race that fits him, but noone knows (or, the reporter knows...)

So the small odds on Summerhill apparently not work against him as he still got 5/14 votes! He clearly had been the superior rider in PCT cobbles.
Though most impressive, that Bakari is following with 3 people going for him. 200 odds must have been satisfying enough to do so, while others have said, it`s still far too low.
Trentin and Vanmarcke at least got 2 votes with Ferreira and any other rider at 1.
Surprisingly no votes at all for riders such as Vanbilsen or Daniel, who had been on the favourite list very high and showed some good performances already and neither did Zepuntke, for more obvious reasons though.
All others probably too low in the cobble stat but now surely having a bit of extra motivation. |

Someone needs to tell Saber that he's a sprinter not a breakaway rider He at least scored some points in the end, so it's not a zero pointer
Congrats to YJ, one of many wins for Summerhill this season
Thanks for the report Nemo

Aggressive race tactics from our team. While the result wasn't amazing, I'll take being active over passive. It's at least entertaining to read.
Easy win for Summerhill. Thanks for the report.

“Godverdomme!” – We hear Vanbilsen
Ga je mond spoelen Kenneth!
Zepuntke with the same result as last year which is about to be expected. Nice to see the domestiques are still active (Lindeman/Marcos today, the latter with some extra points as well). Thanks for the report Nemolito!
No stopping Summerhill today, congrats YJ!

Thought he could have done rather well in Viana depending on how it played out, certainly in a quieter race he'd be very good. However I guess GVK is already a great option and defending champ so no bad way to do it
Congrats YJ! And since I hadn't said it yet great to see you reporting Nemolito, thanks a lot for your work and enjoyed it

YES! Thanks Nemolito for the great report and to everyone congratulating me! We don't have that many opportunities to strike this season but taking the W is very important and keeps us on track to the fight, and hopefully Summerhill can have more of these days throughout the year and waste as little points as possible. Now make sure Vanspeybrouck wins in Viana do Castelo and I'll be proper happy with how the season is starting.

I know I shouldn't complain about a 6th place, but that puncture timing was pretty much as bad as they get. Summerhill does what his manager expects him to do and PCM18 just loves Breen. Thank you for the entertaining report Nemolito!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Absolutely brilliant from Breen! Great to see him utilize his flat skills and get away from the likes of Kristoff, Trentin and Daniel before the sprint. Summerhill is a beast, so this was pretty much the best possible outcome That's already almost a third of the points he scored last year banked, so he's set himself up nicely to improve.
Great racing from Van der Haar as well, although his attack might have cost him a top 10 in the end. But it was worth a try!
Congrats to YJ and thanks for a great report, Nemolito. Keep up the good work!

Congrats on the victory YJ. Summerhill doesn't leave much to be disputed behind him, but it's going to be interesting if he wins as much as needed for you to stay afloat.
Wondeful result from Havik. I really didn't think he had any chances when he dropped midway through the report but clinching a 7th place is quite inspiring!
Thanks for the colourful report Nemolito!.You've definitely proven to be a great addition to the game!
