I'm happy that I actually ended over 100 points behind the relegation line, it feels a bit more okay then. (I feel for you Maxime)
Well, as BBL, said, we get to taste the bitter CT-taste again, but at least we get to continue racing together
It will be nice to be fighting more in the top of the result lists next season, but of course, many of our plans needs to be drastically changed and many needs to be sold of course.
Will need some thinking time to decide who is worth holding on to... |

We always cheer for the Scandinavian teams, so a mixed season with that in mind! It will be great to have viking and Volvo back at the top level, but really feel for bbl. Hope you will be able to bounce back next year!

Uhhh, that was really close. When i saw that everybody from my team (as usually this year) dropped, i started to prepare in my mind for relegating. Its a shame when you guys didnt do anything, and others unsucces bring the needed things. (But lets dont forget that in the mountains and sprints the guys overachieved sometimes, unlike my puncheurs). I feel sorry for you, Maxime.
But im very happy with this 20th place, all in all after the first hilly races i thought we relegate straight.
Thanks for everyone who contributed some way to this interesting season |

It's a little bit of a shame to finish last, but we always knew we would be relegating back down to CT for next season.
The good news is we've been able to prepare for it from the get go and have a solid plan in place, I just need to hope renewals and goal selection gives me enough money to execute my plan for transfers.
Despite finishing last I actually don't think too many changes are going to be needed for my squad as some of our guys look to be good CT scorers despite being outgunned on the PCT level.

Another MG season is over and luckily we got what we wanted for this season, we were always safe from relegation and ended up having a relatively quiet season.
Still, not everything was positive, Pedro Paulinho was clearly a disappointment and the 112pts he managed did not justify the money spent on his training. Vogt again confirmed that he is not up to the PCT and the best will be to try his luck in CT.
Chiarello justified a lot, the money that was spent on training, also Fabio Silvestre clearly had a very positive season being among the top 10 sprinters in the division.
Congratulations to the teams that have already confirmed the promotion and also to those that through the withdrawal of PT teams end up moving up the division.
For relegated teams, I wish that the passage through the CT is short and that they will soon be back in the PCT.
I can't help but thank everyone who made another season possible and who did another great job again

A disappointing season in many respects. Not only did we fail to score points in races where we sent prominent squads, but also many times we saw weak squads clinch random unexpected results. A complete mess of a season.
Great campaign from ISA though. They built a rock solid roster and delived where it mattered. Same with Volvo, Rakuten and UBS, which being from my 'generation' makes me glad to see them go up. Congrats to cycleyorkshire as well whom I did not expect to fare so well, but who have proved themselves to be worthy of a promotion spot!
Campari was a nice surprise as well, while I think De2sigual and Minions performed below expectations. On that note, both Europcar and Philips are really cruel relegations. I hope to see them back to PCT in a season.
Final words to the massive job done by all the reporters who have carried this game to its conclusion, especially with guys like me blocking the flow of reports mid-season (sorry again guys). Chapeau, my friends!

First of all, a huge thanks to everyone that contributed to the game this season. Its definitely been one of the most controversial/interesting seasons I have been a part of and I think I will remember it for a long time.
Huge congrats to ISA who I had a hunch would go up at the start of the year. Also thanks to everyone who congratulated me on promoting. Its always been a dream of mine to promote, but the first time I did, it was "gifted" and didn't feel right. If it wasn't for needing to max Kinoshita and Shikai that year, I probably would have rejected it. This time is different though. Its (I believe) due to good planning on my part (for once) and having a decent knowledge of PCM18 AI, which played into my plan in transfers, where I eased my teams transfer restrictions. Last off-season I made the decision to change, as I didnt really see Meiji going anywhere, after what felt like years of gradual improvement (atleast on paper). Being able to go after any rider, rather than just Asian's made transfers much more exciting, and I think allowed me to get some real bargains. Silva and Rolland are two of my best moves.
Sorry to those that relegated. I know it is tough, but sometimes change can lead to greater possibilities. Hopefully you can all bounce back up again.

Amazing job by the team in spite of me not being around to keep an eye on them!
Did not expect a 10th place after that mess of a transfer-season.
What race reports should i revisit to get the highlights?

@Atlantius, your wins are in the spoiler below. If you want to be surprised by when they happen, check out the Giro, the Olympia's Tour, the Tour de Maroc and the GP Lugano as the main ones I think (although I guess the latter wouldn't be a surprise, given it's a classic )
Spoiler Manninen has two stage wins at the Giro (S2 and 10), and two stage wins at the Olympia's Tour (S2 and 3).
Gautier won S2 of the Tour de Slovenie, S3 of the Tour of Denmark, S3 of the Tour of Beijing, S3 of the Tour Down Under as well the GP Lugano.
Talansky won S6 of the Tour de Maroc, Kittel won S1 of the Bayern Rundfahrt and Vanderaerden won S4 of the Tropicale Amissa Bongo.
I don't have easy access to good GC results for your team, but I guess the easiest way would be to go through the PCT Ranking threads and see in which races you scored the most points.

Good to see you around again!
I guess, you should check those races from the 2nd half of the year:
Tour of Ukraine
Olympia`s Tour
Danmark
South Africa
Bayern Rundfahrt
Beijing
Paris Tours
Maroc
GP Lugano
and maybe Kenya Mountain, Portugal or Baltic Chain as well for depth.
Seeing the longer list shows that you did pretty well in many races I guess. |
