Was hoping to see us hold yellow for more than one day, but okay.
Congrats on another victory viking!

I thought bringing 2 leaders here would give us better odds of getting a minor GC spot. haha hahahahahaha HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. HA.
Twice the pride, double the fall I guess.
Fun to lose over ten minutes here. Clearly catastrophic for our relegation hopes, and pretty funny overall.

Well, another good ride for Shikai. Hopefully he can hang on. Putting some decent time between some better climbers, but he may be too far back to challenge for the win, so it will be more about holding 4th or 3rd than going for the win I think.

A shame Davison didn't go into the KoM fight again, but totally worth it to support Bennett in a great ride! Superb tempo riding to end up 3rd, hopefully, he survives the MTT which I don't expect to be a huge speciality of his purely because it never seems to be for any of my riders ever Really promising ride though. Congrats Gustav, you got your wish for another day in yellow

Meintjes!!! Really impressive stage and with both Amador and Tenorio losing some decent amount of time, we could possibly be looking at a 2nd place GC result! Reis looks hard to beat, especially from our perspective but with a couple of good legs who knows what can happen!

Well, this awkward. Outstanding, but still awkward. I wouldn't have dared to ask for a Reis' victory today. I feel like we don't really deserve this win, much like I feel we were dealt an unjust faith elsewhere this season.
Now I'm hoping for a good GC result.
PS: yeah thanks jandal. Perhaps I should have stated that earlier

A solid stage with Bester in the break and Bennett looking good, even on the offensive, didn't work out sadly but a s.t. finish is fine! Now for the moment of truth in the MTT, hopefully he can stay strong against Shikai and the others biting at our ankles

Alright, alright Larry. You win. You're off the hook this time.
Crazy to me that he was the same rider as yesterday. Terrific aggressive performance. Despite losing tons of GC time, he has once again overperformed at times and taken a decent deal of points (although not as much as we need).
Would have loved the mountain classification too, but I'm not angry he saved his legs for the final climb. Ideally I'd love for him to break on stage 6 and try to close the gap in KOM, but it's almost impossible mathematically and on that terrain.
AKA and Ranneries both survived also, which ideally would be hopeful for stage 6, but I have stopped caring about sprints. The race is basically as good as done for us already, but at least we got some glory along the way.
Thanks for the great report, it was thrilling to follow!

pointless stage..our chances of top 3 are very low now..but Benat is in decent form, maybe he can pull off some bullshit in the TT. at least we scored on every individual stage so far

It's good to see us keeping a hold of the youth jersey and Ranaweera keeping in the top 15 GC.
Must admit I was expecting a better showing from Slagter though, I thought he would be co-leader but he hasn't performed that well.

Congrats on the victory BBL. Gutsy ride from Warbasse!
A good day for us. With everything staying as it was, Reis has a massive chance now. Next stage it's going to be interesting.
Thanks for the great reports!

This looks very good for Meintjes, 2nd place would represent a pretty decent result for us in this field, just the mountain TT left which is make or break

I guess Garby was in the race after all? Not sure why he decided to actually try today?

Hoping we can hold on to 4th, 14th and 29th in the GC. 2nd in the Team GC is also decent. Just glad we didnt lose another 10 seconds to Tenorio. Would have thought Shikai could move up today with his TT skills but guess it wasnt to be.

Another great ride from Reis. This is wildly overtaking my best expectations for this event. I shall not complain for a while, I promise.
Tenorio is a fair winner today, which should give him a more respectable final result.
Again top work on the reports Tamijo!

2nd in the end! Shame we missed out on both the points and overall jersey to Reis who really did well here.
We have done really well here and Meintjes has brought home a very good haul of points, this could well become his best season in a cycleYorkshire jersey!

Lovely stuff Bennett, really really solid ride, better than those below him to even increase the gap, and looking like we'll earn a podium on GC, absolutely great! Showing the effects of that training and more points in the relegation fight, crucial as always.
Thanks for the reports Tami, and congrats to Gustav, what a result for Reis!
