Hey, I was right we did finally setup a sprint train
Too bad it didn't work out. Ciolek either didn't have the legs or the final delivery was just off. Still it's a positive sign, 3rd is still decent and I guess Ciolek should get 2 more good chances to grab a win. Bilbao' turn now.
Congrats on the win viking90

Given the poor positioning in sprint preparation sixth place turns out to be a great result for Kupfernagel. If he had chosen the right train he could have discussed the victory.

Disappointing to once again be working all day at the front and then be nowhere at the finish. Hope it changes.

Edmondson lost no time but it just shows that Steele can't mix it with the big guys up front...hopefully that changes throughout the season!

Great day for us, if we don't F#%/ it up may be some points in this after all.
Thanks for the report

Surprised to see Harper and Gate doing better than Othman, who could maybe become an option for breakaways now. Other than that, good to see two active Jayco riders in the early break.

Nope, Cery still not doing what I hope he'd do.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Di Maggio the smarter one today but let's beat him on stage four. Claeys did this pretty well.

Bellis doing really well with stage countback rules... Hope we can hold onto that and Enger does well as well! We could be in for a good one here

Late recoveries seem to be a staple of Hoelgaard's racing. Is it poor positioning being made up for with strong capabilities? Or maybe that's just the way he races. If he manages to position himself better at any point then maybe we'll find out. Maybe not here in Southland, as the flatter stages don't favour his skillset. |

A solid enough first stage effort for 4th from Moser.
Forgettable second stage with McEvoy disappointing and I also didn't expect it to be so selective.

Good to know that Saber can still sprint. Not really useful winning the sprint from the second group though.

Splits not doing us a favor here, Drapac behind so he's not involved for the stage, Claeys in the front group but then all time gaps are nullified.

Kinda early in the season to pick up our first zero pointer. Well, I probably missed one already so no harm done.

Im happy with what KHJ have achevied so far with his new hill stat! 2nd here and going up to 3rd in GC is good result for us!
Just hope he can stay away for problems on the last stage and maybe Stallaert will sprint well ! |

Going to be a low scoring race here but no Costa at a HIL race will do that for me.

Fair effort from Borges, but losing those final inches is the difference between a podium and a low top10. Maybe I should have sold him instead of Claeys Gutted, but so is the race.
Congrats jaxika.
