That might just be Christian Ranneries signature moment for his career. All the hate he's gotten over the years for his lack of flat and inability to traverse speedbumps have led to this beautiful moment - 4th place in a C1 sprint stage!
Hey, he learned from Razzie, and he's replicated his style and results perfectly.
Honestly, he would have gotten a podium if there was an extra 20 meters too, which is pretty impressive, and also strange, since his one strength his his lightning acceleration.

Good to see Kasa getting involved in the KOM's. Maybe we can salvage something from this race.

Weird that Prevar lost so much time, but great to see Nepomnyachnsiy being up there, a solid result for him could be in the making!
Ulanowksi though... So unlucky...

Shocking from Ignatiev to be overtaken by Coppel. In fact, he lost four minutes and finished just ouside the stage top twenty. That's an end to his title aspirations.
I mean....How unlucky can one be..............

Not a bad ride from JJ considering. Perhaps we can pull out a top 10 here yet. Still, I'd prefer some stage aggression.

Probably couldn't have asked for more. Very unlikely that Van Zandbeek holds on to a high finish after the hills but Costa and Nava are in a great position. Coppel pummeled the rest of us

Reus actually did okay, I'm surprised

Really nice stage there for Juul-Jensen. Aggressive, gets caught, but still puts himself in a great place, takes a top 10, and moves to 7th overall. Very solid effort.

Disappointing from Costa. Should've done better there.

Oof that 8 minute tt loss. AA should be able to climb up another place or two in the remaining stages if he can keep riding so well. A good win for Froome here too.
Thanks for the report!

Amazing performance by Juul-Jensen! A few top 10's and he somehow manages to sneak to 5th overall. Insane ride from him in a field this strong. He was on terrific form and capitalized on it.
I have no idea what the current rankings situation is, but we really needed that performance out of him to have any chance to avoid relegation.
Congrats to Carrefour and thank you so much to Marcovdw! The reports have been spectacular and its very appreciated, especially considering the lesser amount of comments about them recently.

Very poor from Costa, and poor in general the past few races. What should've been a podium push didn't even get close in the hills. Nava with a decent result and Van Zandbeek loss was expected.
Congrats to Coppel and Carrefour on the expected win and thanks for reports Marco

Oh, thought this race was over and yet we still manage to take 3rd and 4th in the GC, not bad at all!

Pichon's stage win helps us a bit. Would have liked to score well in the GC. Thanks for the reports. It's gonna be close to see if we stay up or not!

Absolute garbage as expected, but I guess I can't expect much when I don't bring Siskevicius. Onto next one

If you ignore the 8 minutes lost in the TT, it would actually be a decent race for Waeytens.
