Why would my team react to such a move in any matter? Its not as if we have a good puncheur here... oh wait... only slightly pissed

Shame to see Schleck lose the jersey with Schreurs almost getting in the move to try defend it, but great stage nonetheless due to the great stage win of the best Remco Congrats Abhi

Good aggressive riding from Stuyven here, asserting himself in the break. I almost thought he was gonna hang on. It wasn't to be, but I'll still consider it a good stage for us.

Fantastic teamwork there, first to chase the dangerous break, then to get a perfect leadout and finally for Te Brake to get the win. First win for Te Brake in our colours

Very very uneventful and uninteresting so far! Ackermann doing decently, but not good - and Koretzky, despite 3 stars, doing absolutely nothing.

Been travelling, so missed the start of this key race in our late summer schedule. Difficult to compete on GC with the top PT puncheurs present. In the fight below them though really hoping Boilly's supposed decent ability in both mountains and hills brings back a return of his preceeding CT season form. Ji as an alternative option if the mountain stage creates carnage. JAC pretty much a no-show on the two potential sprint stages, so now he is just honing his form for the upcoming ToA.

I'll admit to cheering for Quevedo during the stage
Nice to see him on the attack, got pretty close actually.

Hope Stuyven can keep the mountains classification, but he didn't seem very strong today.

Nice ride from Ruijgh in the break and a good finish from Costa. Third place at the moment is good to have. Gotta stay consistent because he probably can't keep up with the best punchers when they attack.
Congrats Gustavovskiy!

Yay a victory! Wasn't expecting to see Claeys shine in a peloton like this, but it's always nice to take a win, especially in our home race. Thanks Abhishkek!
Machado has started to bleed time. Hope he can fight back in the uphill finishes otherwise our bid for GC is going to be innocuous.

This is a start. Skujins active but without the necessary fortune and it seemed like the ai made him sit up at times when he crossed to a group ahead. But the stage result is a start and some good climbers / stage racers were caught behind too so a solid stage.

Another good performance from Claeys, who was to come here only as a luxury domestique. Our gamble has backfired once again, which means GC is off. Kinda frustrating given how a 10km climb finale should have suited Machado well, but I guess bringing Claeys here confounded the AI-
Congrats ebuddy on this strong win! Bobridge is relishing his yellow jersey and the 2min gap for the rest of the field. 4 more hilly days to come, still much to happen.

Boswell with some strong performances so far, finally awarded with a stage win, which is great for a rider who is not exactly the strongest puncher in the field.
Brambilla so far down can't be good for our GC hopes, but maybe Boswell can win even more time in the next stages and can have more than outside chance of a top 10 here.
Really disappointing with Van Poppel though. Stage 2 didn't turn out to be one for sprinters, while in the third stage he was rather disappointing missing out even on the podium. Some of that blame might be on me though as I didn't bring him any type of support here.

Solid showing from Bennett. Hope he can keep getting that or better from here until the high mountain stage and look at a valuable top 10. Some breaks would be nice too since Venter isn't going to get any depth GC points now.

Solid start to the hills but a bit of a disappointment to bethe worst of the top 6 on this finish. Skujins needs to improve further.

Pleased that Meinjtes has started off quite strong here... Hope we don't lose too much more time to keep us closer to Bobridge, but I feel like we look like good money for a podium here if we don't fall away

Finally. A stage win is always much appreciated and in a race like this also needed. Not too happy about the relative lack of gaps with mountains and a tt still to come but the race is still long...

Urgh, awful for us, needless loss of time sees Bennett tumbling away from the top 10. But happy to see Skujins win
