Wasted race days. Appo made the split and then decided he was good to roll in for a top 70.
Thanks for the report.

Considering to awful position when sprint has just started, 4th place seems almost like a victory. Still no podium means disappointment.
Thanks Tamijo for the report!

Coquard is a deserving winner in such a race. knew it the moment he had the wheel of Van Stayen when he started the sprint - congrats SotD!
2nd is a great result for me. Can be very happy about it eventhough im slightly disappointed that Dzamastagic, Stoltz and Greg didnt play a role helping him ir force some more chaos but they scored some nice depth results so i can be happy with them too. Beating Demare is obviously very sweet too (had to be expected though )

Good efforts again from Evonik and Puma to put as much pressure on the title-run as possible.
evonik putting pressure on the title-run? Now that is a bold prediction i havent read before and i dont see that happening even if we end super lucky in a few races. Top 10 would be fine and top 5 would be superb already.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

11th from Roelandts is a nice result. Nothing extremely shining, but good points anyway. Bystrom with a few minor points in 26th is good too.
Thanks for the report Tamijo and congrats to SotD for the win with Coquard

No rider in the main group. That deserves a sarcastic round of applause.
At least Quevedo tried to get into the breakaway as predicted, but he didn't pull hard enough to get into the actual break...

I'll book one ticket for Rowe on the Evonik train please.
Ah I must have booked the wrong seat. I wanted him at the back of the Evonik train, not halfway through so he's in the wind with 2km to go Crappy AI but nice to see us helping force the selection, getting in the break and in the top 10, even if Rowe could have done more. But at PTHC I'll take 37 points, plus one for MTK. If we had a bigger favourite I would have loved to see what Debesay could have done putting pressure in the rolling terrain Thanks for the report Tamijo, and congrats to Festina for a nice win

20th and 28th is worse than I was expecting April going the February way so far and that is a big worry!
Congrats to SotD on the win. Thanks for the report Tamijo

Very pleased with the result here, both by Kristoff and Ponzi, doing exactly what I've hoped for them
Thanks for the report!

Coquard adds another layer to Festina's successful month. Congrats SotD. Fears of relegation should be well beyond your worst dreams now.
Puma and Evonik with a slight upset, but there can only be a winner I guess.
I second you there. Three guys on the top50 is decent as well, but I'd like for us to be more aggresive in this race.

A bit dissapointed that Ahlstrand could only take 9th but strong guys infront of him.
Congrats SotD! |

True, that might be a bit difficult, although you are looking quite strong for a top 5!
I guess, realistically, it will be a 2 horse race between Moser and Puma. Imo I'd think Puma has the better chance, given that Herklotz might well win the Vuelta, while Moser might have the better overall scoring potential in the rest. But will it be enough to overcome a potential GT win?
I still see Evonik, Isostar and T-Mobile with an outside shot too, but for the two latter it will need a good scoring TdF - probably with a overall win, while Evonik will need to be even stronger than ever in the smaller races - while also landing some sort of big score in atleast 1 of the remaining Grand Tours - Much like you did in the Giro.
Vesuvio might be leading for the moment (I think they are, without having made the calculations since sometime during the Giro), but Schleck without many racedays and then just the unreliable leaders, it seems like a far-fetched project, although a podium could happen (I don't think so though)

Oh man, last week was really tough and made me forget about this completely
Yet again, Demare just delivers, a very smart sprint by him. I was slightly hopeful the first two would run out of energy before the line, but I surely take the podium in the end. For once, I can even live with MVS ahead!
Congrats to our friends at Festina for a very important win here, it wasn't easy for Coquard on this route but he got there.
I trust your prediction and math skills, but you really need to stop inducing title expectations in me! I don't want those renewals...
Thanks for the report as well!

Grosu literally leading himself out here. With better positioning or someone to help him, I think he could have challenged for a podium here. 6th is good enough in the end. It's good to see him being more consistent in the sprints this year. Well, except for the Qatar fiasco that is.
And great to see Gerts being so aggressive. Maybe I should consider some hill training for him as well
