And just days into the pre 2018 transfer season, Netia - Vónin have made their first signings, this season's goal was consolidation in the Pro Continental Tour, so we are proud to announce that two of our recent signings will aid us in achieving that goal.
Lasse Norman Hansen | Age: 26 | OVL: 74.37 | Time - Trialist | Wage: €250,000
Lasse Norman Hansen is one of Netia's two stars of this transfer season! After his former team, Strava disbanded, he drops down from the PT to the PCT to ride with us. A Danish track star who brought his strengths to the road, he is of course an excellent prologue rider, who can also ride longer TTs, though even more valuable to us is his ability to accelerate very quickly and put out a lot of power on the flat. We're hoping he can use these skills to get results in tough flat classics as well as occasionally giving Vantomme a huge advantage, though he should hope to lead as often as possible.

Kamil Malecki | Age: 22 | OVL: 69.90 | Cobblist | Wage: €50,000 | Pot: 3 | Level 1.00
With both Kaspa and Pedersen on the path to greatness, it makes sense that we need to bring in some support riders, Iliyan Kolev will be assisted in providing assistance by young Pole Kamil Malecki, we haven't quite sorted out his training path yet, but in the possible projection below you can see that he will be quite the cobbles talent, with a big engine to go for a long time and no weaknesses on any terrain. We look forward to him joining the team!
Fl | Mo | Hl | TT | Sta | Res | Rec | Cb | Sp | Acc | Fgh | Dh | Prl | 70 | 67 | 67 | 69 | 67 | 72 | 64 | 70 | 70 | 70 | 68 | 72 | 68 | 75 | 67 | 68 | 69 | 72 | 77 | 65 | 77 | 74 | 70 | 68 | 72 | 68 |
Kristian Dyrnes | Age: 26 | OVL: 76.47 | Puncheur | Wage: €300,000
Kristian Dyrnes comes to us after he unfortunately fell out with his former team Aker - MOT, on teams bad luck is another teams good luck though, as we managed to pick up the talented Norwegian, who's ability to accelerate quickly will give him a huge advantage over his competitors. Norske Skog would be proud at least, because after 4 transfer seasons we finally have our 2nd ever Norwegian. Kristian will rarely race alongside Michal Kwiatkowski, focussing on more hilly terrain, though we do plan to occasionally let them join forces in a devastating double threat!

As I said on skype, I love love love this trio, and especially now they have found their perfect team. Dyrnes has cool stats and scoring potential (and will bounce off of Kwiatek well as they split the calendar), Malecki is another component to your amazing future and LNH... is just so awesome

@Jandal - Thank so much! <3 Love your enthusiasm!
@white jersey - Thanks, fortunately for you, they shouldn't race together super often.
@Croatia - Somebody doesn't like Malecki Thanks though!

Thanks! with 2 hills riders (Kwiat & Dyrnes) and 2 flat riders (LNH & Vantomme) it'll be interesting to see if they complement each other or break PCM.

Lasse was high up on my wanted list but it took like 5 sec before he was out of it, that bid scared me away and apparently all other as well.
But he is a really nice rider, so congrats !
Dyrnes is really nice aswell, and picking up a cobbler talent at 50.000 wage is Good work.
Nice first days for you in transfer! |

Solid signings, wouldn't say groundbreaking signings, but should add some flavor to the team

@Viking - Thanks Lasse is awesome so I knew there'd be a lot of interest, so tried to just go high as fast as possible and try to scare everybody off, guess it worked.
@sgdanny - Yeah, aiming to make up the difference between relegation battle and safe in the PCT, as well as adding some cool flavour because I've never really had the budget to go for someone with stats like LNH. So no big 80+ main stats guys this time round.

@Booker - Thanks!
It's time for us to post our goals for next season, they're all (unsurprisingly) geared for our Polish star Michal Kwiatkowski, with hilly and mountainous terrain, we hope we can achieve a couple (or at least 1 ) of our sponsor's targets!
Win - Tour of Eritrea
Last year, Michal Kwiatkowski surprised by winning the tough mountain stage here, beating Kudus to the line after following the home rider's attack and defended the jersey in the hills despite an unnerving lack of support, this year we'll attempt to defend that title, albeit with a stronger squad. Win - Tour of the Middle East
A very similar race to Eritrea and with a tricky hilly stage we hope to take some serious time to contest the GC, will certainly be an interesting race as it's a new profile so anything can happen, but we are hoping for fireworks on the hills. Top 5 - Giro dell'Emilia
We have actually achieved this result not once, but twice before, with Luis Leon Sanchez taking 2nd in 2016 and Michal Kwiatkowski snatching 3rd after an aggressive race last year, this time round we've set our hope accordingly, aiming to back up one of our team's most successful races with another podium finish. Top 10 - Tour of California
With 2 hilly stages and a not super difficult mountain stage, a trip to the West Coast of America will suit us perfectly, the 30km of time-trialing may be the most major difficulty, but Kwiatkowski has the legs for that as well. In particular, we've set our hopes low, only aiming for a top 10 given the presence of Pro Tour teams. Win - Overall Rankings After saving ourselves from relegation by the skin of our teeth, we thought things through and decided that we were going to win the Pro Continental Rankings, or maybe we just wanted to sound big to our sponsors, either way, the riders have a lot to do...

Those are um, quite some ambitious goals I see that Kwiat's going to be a busy man this season and honestly, it seems like they're all very possible. You were right at the top of the division last season for a period of time, maybe you could stay up that way the entire season this time

Haha, the win rankings goal was more for the points honestly, as long as we don’t relegate I’m happy.
Thanks though, have some high hopes to acheive more than the 0-1 we normally do

Not surprising race goals giving Kwiato's abilities except California, i mean, there are more suiting PTHC races for him for sure

I think Cali suits him best honestly, Portugal is nice for him but I decided I didn’t want to go there and commit the RDs, Maroc is slightly too tough I think, Balkans slightly too easy, also it is actually an Or goal between Cali and Pro Halstatt but I think a tour is less risky :P

Just one signing today but certainly one we are very happy with, as Nicolay Cherkasov joins our squad!
Nicolay Cherkasov | Age: 22 | OVL: 69.56 | Roleur | Wage: €50,000 | Pot: 3 | Level 1.00
It's not often you sign a neo-pro who is already an amazing asset for your team, but that is exactly what Nicolay Cherkasov is, he's a powerhouse on the flat, already able to set up Maxime Vantomme or protect Michal Kwiatkowski and Kritian Dyrnes in the wind and he'll only get better, we haven't discussed his exact training goals with Nicolay, but we're thinking he could be one of the strongest roleurs in the world, with a good kick and versatility in the hills and mountains, he'll be an essential domestique for the team.
