We are proud to present our first signing of the 2018 season, Laurent Pichon! Laurent joins us on a staggering 210.000€ contract and is meant to be one of two hills leaders for the season. We're pleased to have him on board and hope to announce more signings in the near future!

Pichon's no slouch - he's a pretty great pick up. His wage is about right; it could have easily been more though so congrats

Really nice signing there - he was high on my list, but never really had the chance to get involved in the bidding til he was out of my price range. I think he'll be a big success this year in the Nordstrom team!

Thanks! Guess you will see in a bit To start with I was a annoyed having to pay 210k but now I am gonna say its a great wage!

Most likely going to lead a lot of races for me for sure. Gonna one of my most important riders for sure!

I really love his back up stats too, and one of the reasons why he was our main target very early on when the window opened Hopefully I get to have a lot of fun with him

I am here today to announce 4 riders, 3 off them are for our hills squad, so
I will start by announcing the signing of the Canadian sprinter Guillaume Boivin! Boivin joins us on a 300k deal from Canadian ProTour outfit RBC. A sprinter that can make himself useful in stage races as well on slightly tougher sprint stages, which could see him score reasonably well this upcoming season!
Next up is the introduction of the 3 new hills riders we have added from other teams in this window:
First one we would like to present is the British rider Alex Dowsett!

When we first realized that Alex became available we were quick to pounce. We quickly made a deal with T-Mobile manager Heine, worth 550k. We also made a second deal with T-Mobile which will see to the fact that Connor McCutcheon will max on the protour next year which is great news for us! Dowsett is gonna co-lead the team with Pichon who we presented to the public yesterday. Up next we got a speed Italian!
Next living picture to take the stage is an Italian who puts the punch in puncheur, Davide Villella!

Davide is going to be one of our main keys to success next year. We envision him being the one to facilitate a lot of the attacks we will set in over the next season with his absolute rapid acceleration skills. We made a deal with Aegon - Lavazza and it ended up in us paying them 400k, definetely a fantastic price for a rider like Villella! Could very well surprise as one of the major points scorers for us this season! Next up is another Brit, and I think you will dig him

Last guy to round out our hills department for the season, for now at least. Diggle is known for his time on Xero which saw him establish him self as a high class puncheur when needed. While he will mostly be racing for Pichon or Dowsett this season there's a likelyhood of him being able to pursue some results on his own. A transfer fee of 256k could make him one of the steals of the season. One thing is sure bring on the hills!

Quite an amazing hilly squad you are building  If Pichon and Dowsett can work racing together, you could have a lot of fun in hilly races

That are some nice hill depth!
Villella will be interesting as he should be the most explosive of them and with some freedom could play a nice role.
You were rather lucky to get him and for that cheap. Now I wouldn`t have sold him at all.  |

Yep super happy with the price I paid and his explosiveness should be put to good use with some interesting planning

Considering as long he scores decently well I'll be happy especially since I have Pichon as back up plus the rest of the guys! I am not gonna complain about it that's for sure!
