Can you elaborate more on this? How high will it be (especially asking for a 50k wage rider for now although it would be good to know for others ahead of transfers)?
Also will that cost go out of the system or does that simply raise the min loan fee?
I dont need to wait for my budget

However, Stagiares for PT teams will no longer count as half a rider for the minimum rider limit.
Dammit why
Having to sign two more riders will surely result in a higher cap, right?

Would prefer to start by the end of the week. But would of course try to get it all done in time.
Been off a few days after a busy weekend. Will catch up with the stuff probably on wednesday.

Will we get any news on new rider additions and FA upgrades before renewals or is it after everyone is done?

Why will this be changed? IIRC the last poll we had about it was in favour of crashes.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I'm leaving to America early in the morning, so I can't do them within 24 hours or so, but I want it sent to my dropbox so that I can do it when I have time in the evening |

Great to see this stage get started, well done to all involved. For me, unless in a very small minority and hence holding things up, I'd prefer to wait on a little more clarity around any updated relationship between RD's and OVR, and a view on the full calendar.
I'm excited to see the new calendar and increase in RD's in each category. I wasn't expecting however that rider RD's would necessarily be given a blanket 'up-lift' as is potentially now implied. I'm hoping for similar RD to OVR relationship as 2017 season, hence top riders in each terrain/division have less regimented calendars where similar riders turn up to all the same races, and instead some greater variety in start lists. Might also provide an extra wider motivation to avoid the default (PT at any rate) approach of minimum squad size adopted by the majority of teams; or at least offer better opportunity for alternative approacjes to also be successful?
Good luck to everyone with renewals, a highly nerve-wracking (wrecking?) part of the MG!

I'm not sure I quite follow the point here. I think it's that less RD for leaders relative to races, is what you prefer?
Just because there are 1.25 more RD for PCT teams compared to last year for example, does not mean that all PCT riders will get 1.25 more RD. Quite possible that PCT domestiques will get proportionally more, and whatever happens, I'd assume that it will increase the importance of squad depth.
But in general, the lack of specifics at this stage, on a few different aspects, is because we haven't finalised the new approach yet - so there's little that can be implied.
Same applies to the loan rule query from knockout, we've been discussing a few options there. Money would go to loan-in team though, not out of the system, and indeed one of the purposes is that it does provide a potential income flow to lower divisions - whereas usually the money goes the other way.
It's quite unlikely that new rider details will be revealed during Renewals, the target for them is the post-Renewals DB, but also to ensure sufficient time between their reveal and the start of transfers, to aid planning.
The crash decision was made following the discussion in the suggestions thread. All decisions such as this are only ever for the forthcoming season, and not long-term binding choices.

As SN already said.
Last poll was in October I think before last season.
The general suggestion mid and post season was to change it as too many crashed.
Hence changing it to 0 for next season. Afterwards we can discuss again, what is better or what needs to be changed. |
