Come on, based off Pluichkin he's clearly a PCT rider at this point.

First signings
Today Jan Ullrich could proudly present the 2 first new riders to join the team for next year, German Rudiger Selig and French Alexandre Geniez.
Selig is an up and coming German sprinter that will hopefully develop well over the season, will either be given some small chances or be the last leadout for a more experienced sprinter
Geniez is an experienced stage race domestique that will be important this season. He is the first of several riders signed to help Rein reach the top!

Great signings! Had Geniez within my options because of his C2 availability, but didn't find the moment to outbid you

Big changes
Over the last days a lot of big changes have been done to the team, a lot of riders have left the team, and a lot of riders have joined the team. The following riders have left:
Willi Willwohl
Mattia Cattaneo
Christoph Taubel
Christoph Mai
Alex Dowsett
Ruben Zepuntke
Hermann Pernsteiner
Daniel Paulus
Andreas Stauff
We would like to thank them all for the seasons they have been at the team and we wish them good luck in the future!
However, we are more interested in the riders joining the team
Tejay van Garderen
Joining in a team record deal of 3.000.000 Tejay is going to go right into the the squad as a leader. We expect him to follow up on his many good results from the last seasons and become an awesome asset for the team. We are really looking forward to see what he can do for the team
Jacob Fiedler
One of the best German riders, and one of the worlds best time trialists joins the team in a trade worth 1.300.000. With riders like Coppel leaving PT we expect big things from Jacob and are really happy to have signed a German leader!
Florentino Marquez
Florentino joins the team to be our number 2 behind Rein Taaramae, and will lead the team in at least 1 GT during the season. He is a strong climber that really knows how to accelerate away from his competitors.
Andreas Hofer
A strong Austrian Time-trialist joining in a swap deal for Christoph Taubel. He will be an important part of helping our leaders to not loose time in TTTs and will also be given the chance to ride time trials for himself
Enrico Battaglin
Another swap deal, this time for Christoph Mai. Enrico comes to strenghten our mountain train and maybe also join some breakaways.
Thomas Bontenackels
A rider we have wanted for some years now. A rider that can both climb and time trial that will be important for Rein and Florentino as a domestique
More to come later, we are really happy about the crop of riders joining today

3M for TVG is quite a thing, but the team leaders look quite sick now. Quite some changes. Will root for you, just because of T-Mobile TVG though will hopefully lose against Bobridge in those races, where they meet

Best of luck to Tejay, he will be missed. But, he deserves to be in a title challenging team while he still has a few good years left in him.
The 3 million makes this goodbye less painful.

Thanks, I feel it was a steep price, but thats how is in a bidding war and I had set him and Fiedler as my Priority 1 targets this year. I feel sorry for Bobridge, he's just going to see TVGs ass riding away from him

Don't know if I am a title contender, quite som big weaknesses in the squad, but should be the best squad I've ever had and I should have a lot of fun with it

Thanks, means a lot coming from you. But as I said over, some glearing weaknesses in the squad, but if we can get top 5 I will be overjoyed
Thanks

Thanks, will be the best puncheur I've ever had. Enjoy my hard earned money :-p
Thank you, I propose a battle between our teams in a cobbled TT. My best cobblers vs your best timetrialist ;-)

More welcomes!
Mitch Docker
No team is complete without a sprinter, and we welcome the man and the legend! His best days might be behind him, but the former GT stage winner is back for one last hurrah in the PT and after first getting shopped around for a whole off season, then dropped into the depths of free agency and ignored there Mitch is back for revenge!
Michael Schwarzmann
After selling both Taubel and Zepuntke we needed someone to lead the team on the cobbles, and here he is! Not impressed? Pft, we are quite sure he will be able to finish every cobble classic there is! (We are not sure if we can say that about his support team)
Artemio Moschella
The Rein-bot as we like to call him, our own Italian stallion will follow Rein and Marquez around the world and drag them up mountains until his legs fall off. Can he do anything else? No, but damn he can climb!
Loanies
We also welcome our 4 loanies this season, McCutcheon, Veyhe, Altanzul and last but not least Muhlberger back for round 2. They are young and they are here to help the team while gathering valuable PT experience!

Last signings?
Today the 2 last signings have been secured
Geoffrey Soupe
The French sprinter joins us to make a duo together with Mitch Docker. A quick and strong sprinter that at minimum wage should be able to give us some good results.
Mikayil Krasnoperov
Mikayil have in earlier seasons been paid well to lead for CT/PCT teams, now he wants a season or two riding in PT and maybe be part of a GT winning team? A strong climber with some timetrials skill that will be awesome in support for Rein
That should conclude our transfer season

What if Krasnoperov ruins AI for Taaramae. |
