I have played the stage, and well, it clearly skewed towards cobblers now, even with just 1 star rating in the cobbles. I won it with Sagan, ahead of 3 breakaway riders (Uran, Edmondson, Delage) and half a minute behind a 10-rider group led by Trentin, with most of the bigger cobbler you would expect there (GvA, Terpstra, Naesen, Gilbert), but also a guy like Valverde or Kwiatkowski in the first group. I would say that less than 70 cob it's impossible to do well in this stage. Bardet, Froome and Alaphilippe were all around places 20-25, 3 minutes behind and more.
Punchy cobblers are the way to win this race i would say, so the purpouse of the stage is fullfilled
nice to hear you think it's fullfilled, this is also what I mostly had in my trials

Man that really is perfect I'd say. Alap is too light and I really don't see him performing in a race like this that, and Froome obviously don't see him in the top spots aswell.. The first group you portrayed seems pretty good and realistic, powerhouse riders mainly with Valverde (who we know can do the cobbles too so it fits very well)
Agree, this is quite what happens in this classic, btw there was a great placment by Bardet last year that's now unlikely, but Aquarius told also that Uran got podium with an early attack, so it's quite a similar outcome

Just tried out the stage now, and yeah similar experience to Aquarius.. It was awesome really raced with BMC, 1,15 difficulty (what I always use) and shredded the peloton in many of the gravel sections.. used up everyone until Monte Sante Marie and from then on it was an on-and-off basically.. Sagan and Benoot were with GVA the whole time, later some groups joined.
In the end missed a vital move, began the final sprint in Benoot group but still 5th.. Group of cobbled riders (pic), Valverde struggled more than I thought tho (no form differences).
Terrific job mate, not only have you made the race realistic the graphics are awesome! Specially the Via Santa Caterina

Thanks, I'm really proud of your notes this was a project that I cared about it a lot, it's one of my favourite races and playing the original version is shameful, I had to do something...and while I was there I fixed also some details, like via Santa Caterina that moreover isn't decisive at all in original version, and didn't make the atmosphere of the real race.
btw there still a problem I played it another couple of times, and whit your trials too more than an half of times Sagan is winning, now is more foreseeable

df_Trek, and for 2017 Patch for PCM14 too, please!
Let's save the history of PCM together!
Just write me a PM if you have something for old PCM Editions (from 2005 to 2014) - databases, stages, shirts etc. and we'll share it.
