The best part is that Valgren rode cobbles last year after Lars Michaelson joined Astana as sports director and insisted that Valgren could do well on cobbles. Guess he was right...

Jokes aside all 3 Astana's were about to get dropped on Bosberg so I don't think they will be able to repeat this result this season. Vanmarcke and Stybar looked the strongest overall at this stage |

That was boring. Please go back to the old route, this route is too easy outside of Kapelmuur when the race isn't longer. |

I think everyone feared the Muur and wanted to wait. After that, there was a head wind until the finish, discouraging attackers.
