Brilliant start to the race for us with the stage 1-2, Hofer has done amazing to backup Gabby here, Hopefully he can keep the jersey after tomorrow or Salleh can take the stage and take it off him.
I don't think the TT is long enough for Zoidl to be a contender for the GC win but hopefully he can still get a strong result regardless and use it to jump up a few spots in the GC compared to his normal level on hill only routes.

Good from Grabovski getting 5th. Hopefully the hills will see us continue the run.
Congrats Sauber and thanks for the report

WHAT??!!!! We're leading all but one classifications and second in the other??!! WHAT??!! We didn't even have riders for the flats!
What a ride for Per His second stage win of the season, in what is just our fourth win overall! Great job by Costa to take the KOM lead as well!

Lol i thought i had commented on the first stage... but it turns that i forgot
Anyway, a top10 for Kneisky is ok-ish, but not good enough, while Gilbert's time was very decent.
And in stage 2, those are the type of breakaways we should be, without a prime GC rider and no sprinter Congrats Abhishek!

Urgh no no no no no no no! No yellow, no Bennett, no Diggle, no depth, no promo at this rate! Roux with a good attitude and not missing the splits is nice though.

MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAXIME MONFORT!!!!!!!!!!!!
So happy with this guy, third in Gisborne and now this I expected some steady results but certainly no stage win. Sending him to Andorra must've made him stronger
Gatto should be the favourite for stage 4. Maybe Simon can do something, even though he was rather meh today. As long as there won't be any gaps and Monfort can keep the lead I'll be a very happy manager. |

Congrats Abhi and Vien, both great results for your squads!
It's a relative shock to see the Kulczyk colours out at the front of the peloton doing some pace-setting, but I'm loving it. Vichot and Hollenstein working themselves into GC contention and steering clear of the wreckage, that's all I can ask.
It's a long race lads, conserve your energies.
Side note: tsmoha, you're everywhere at the moment!

Another crash for Gilbert, but unlike in Euskal, he doesn't look to be injured, as he's sitting fifth in GC. Congrats to Vien for the win!
Quite surprised about Kneisky performance , although it's a pity he could finish in the first group because with the TT coming in the fifth stage, he would have been the clear favourite to take the lead after it. Zoidl is set to take the lead then, and i think Gilbert can keep a top10 spot if he doesn't fail in Stage 6. Cunego though is a total flop

Feeling sorry for everybody involved in crashes they really were a lot and very damaging.
About my own race I can't complain, Uwyizeyimana in the U25 lead and 2nd in GC, gotta say I'm surprised (but in theory I shouldn't ). Hoping for a strong TT so he can consolidate a good spot in the GC.

We've been quite unlucky so far, but Nizzolo is failing miserably.

Crashes are never fun and looks like they might have cost us a better result today. We had so many bodies in the first group but couldnt put them to use sadly.

Still though, you do have 4 of the top 15 at the moment. That's something

Thanks for the congrats guys for the previous stage
Stage 3 was a mixed bag for us. Per lost the leader's jersey but it was expected. He did well do pick up those intermediate points for the points jersey lead. Costa being aggressive is a refreshing change. Wyss is where we hoped he'd be, in touch with the leaders. Looking decent so far.
Congrats Vien for the win and thanks for the reports tsmoha
