I might add a few more predictions in the next days
Didn't go too bad. Got half of Froome's right, Movistar not winning Tour, Bardet not podium in Tour, Sagan winning Green and 3 stages, Alaphilippe winning Fleche, Porte crashing out of TDF...
- Valverde wins Pays Vasco - Greg van Avermaet wins Tour de Flandres - Oliver Naesen will win a WT cobbled classic - Gianni Moscon will win a WT classic and be on the podium of a monument. - Brambilla and Pantano will be a brilliant double on the Giro. - Nibali will win the World Championships - Amstel will be one by a sprinter, Colbrelli, Sagan, Matthews, probably between these. - Adrien Petit will Top10 Paris-roubaix. - Greipel will win a cobbled classic. - Kelderman in the final Top5 in the Tour. - Nibali will be on the Tour podium but Won't win, - Kittel wins first stage in the Tour, Gaviria wins Green. He and Sagan follow each other in mountain breaks. - Mathieu van der Poel for CX WC win. Wout van Aert will be in the discussion of the Binckbank Tour.
Almost Right:
- Porte wins TDU
2nd - TVG will win Tour of California
2nd - Paris Roubaix is won by Trek-Segafedo.
TDF Roubaix stage was. - Froome will not be suspended.. but a crash (or ilness) will prevent him from being on the Giro OR the Tour.
Giro prologue crash. - Chaves and Miguel Angel Lopez will be on the final Giro podium, with Dumoulin or (likely) Aru.
MAL and Dumo were. - Dumoulin wins ITT Worlds.
2nd - Valverde will Not win Fleche but he will win Liege.
Didn´t win Fleche - Peter Sagan will without a single doubt win GP Quebec in front of GVA, and Uran will atack in the final Kilometer. Nathan Haas, Gianni Moscon will be on the top 5.
GVA was 2nd.. classic.
Right:
- Geraint Thomas will be in the fight for the Tour de France win. - Valverde wins Catalunya - Barguil will have an horrible season, Elie Gesbert will rise up to save Fortuneo's season.
Gesbert´s TDF crash was my Fortuneo highlight of the year really. - W52 will dominate the continental scene again, but not with the same dominance. - No doping scandals in 2018 (excludinf Froome's that began 2017) - Snow will make one cobbled classic a race of plenty crashes and Paris-Roubaix will be without some of the main figures.
Michael - Porte will crash on the 15th July, Tour de France stage 9. But he will be the strongest in the climbs.
EPIC! - OH! And Gaviria wins first stage of Vuelta a San Juan
