Again nothing. Really dreading the next rankings update by now.
You should. It must be horrible to be 5th by start of October, having 350 points to 2nd place, as a promoting team.
Well, even though the gaps to the teams below are more relevant, that sounds much nicer than I anticipated with the misses in the last few races, thanks
And you're right, comparing to pre-season expectations, we could score 0 points in October and I still couldn't complain.
Kelderman has some pressure regardless since the TTT won't yield much and Lisbon is somewhat of a gamble with Ciolek and Demare potentially not being bothered to sprint again.
If my, brief, calculations are somewhat to be trusted you have a gap of 300-350 points down to 10th, and ~ 500 points to 11th.
And when looking at the teams around you, you won't expect to lose many points in the upcoming TTT race to neither Aker, Becherovka, eBuddy, BPost or Evonik.
So having a top 10 sprinter and a top 10 puncheur you should be easily out of trouble. Even if you don't perform, it's hard to see 5-6 teams catching that many points on you

This went a bit worse than expected. Keizer in 17th is surely lower than he potentially could have done. But Olivier crashing I guess surely didn`t help. Apparently a DNF, which is not ideal as support rider in that event.

I don´t remember A.Schleck having a bad day ever. Another dominating win for him.
Faiers performed according to his skills, so I can´t complain.
Thanks jph27 for report.
