Steady first two stages for us. With no sprinter, it was nice just to have Dowsett staying safe and out of any harm.

Drapac going backwards is an understatement, from second to sixth in one corner. Anyway onto the hilly stages where I'm hoping for a surprise Weiss attack.

Looks like we had full control of the peleton today and a Top10 from Dowsett shows some nice form in the race. A big stage tomorrow which we need really go hard on and create gaps for Alex before the MTT

Decent performance but would rather have Diggle and Nzeke swap for a little extra security, and some more points

I doubt Zoidl will gain much on the MTT, his GC challenge is over now but Schurter has surprised me on Mountain races before so there is still hope he can hold onto that top 10 GC and maybe challenge for a top 5.

How does Simon Yates MTT slower than Souper?! Or a neo-pro in The Boss? He's a bettr climber than them both, and a better TT'er! He should have been at least 4" quicker based on that fact, if not more. Still, he's got a hilly stage left to do something with.

I'm sure this nearly-almost-about makes up for Anton's stage 4 in Croatia's books

I won't say anything. I don't really want to celebrate this victory, cause it shows how the race most likely would've looked like without Antons crash. Happy and sad at the same time...
