Too bad Kreder's sprinter didn't really helped him there. Could have produced a welcomed and surprising top 15 placing.

Wow, what a day for Movistar! Congrats to them on a great double.
Three riders top 20, unfortunately number 18, 19 and 20 Decent enough though, but would like to see a bit more offensive riding next time, guys!
Thanks for the report, trek

Wow what a race for Movistar, congratz Mre! That will come in handy in the fight for survival.
Reckon quite a few managers will be slightly annoyed with their team leaders here. Especially Gazelle set everything up for Ginanni and he was just not there, what a blunder.

Nice to see Movistar 1-2, but even better to see that break win with Garcia making use of a sleeping peloton
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Congrats to mre, incredible result for them. Boring race ultimately but I'm happy with 8th. Thanks trek for the report.

I tried to not send VS to pure hilly races but I had to use this opportunity with many stars at T-A. Don't have the feeling he will do well here but I can still hope for the better...
I think one of those outsiders with 77-80 HI like e.g. Juul Jensen or Chavez might be able to sneak away from the peleton from far with some key domestiques missing due to T-A but also the break might have a realistic chance for once. Otherwise, the first favourite to attack will take it.
The only positive was that my prediction was not too far off
VS shit. Glad I avoided the Ardennes with him.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Yup, what the fuck is the reaction I had there too!
A welcome surprise though, especially since you rarely see that stuff happening.
Someone will be really happy tonight when he checks daily, congrats

Thank you for the report, trekbmc.
We came for nothing and got nothing, which is fair. Admittedly we put the wrong rider in the breakaway when the peloton suddenly decided to let Garcia run away with it. Congratulations on a huge double, mre! |

So with 3 PT events running alongside each other with really weird results, though the GC winner in TA was predicted and so was Schlecks current lead in P-N, but still with a sense of inspiration that the obvious is not allowed to happen. Crazy!
Gratz to Movistar and really nice by TVG, funny to see two times 1-2 on the same day

Very double feeling about this strange race.
It's quite embarrassing that Garcia was able to gain 1'30 while we were leading the peloton between 18km and 5km. And it's very frustrating that after all the great work his teammates did controlling things in the last 5 kilometres, Ginnani didn't try to make a jump forward. I'm sure he had energy left but he just sat there... So that's the bad part.
But the good part is that in terms of points we actually did quite well. 9th, 10th, 12th and 21st is not a bad result.
More than 450 points for Movistar...that's bloody amazing. Congrats Mre!

What the fuck. I really hope that these points won't put Movistar ahead of us in the end.
Don't get me wrong, I like you, and congrats, but not like this...
Gazelle scoring heavily also is not to my liking, but at least Kelderman avoided a Badaling, although the report suggests there could've been more possible.

Meh! Spilak seemed strong, but a rider worth 1mio should not be 4th in a race with this competiton.
BTW, who the fuck was the winner? Never heard of him. I guess that is "charming" or something... But please dont do that ever again in races Where Spilak is present. Otherwise he will become 5x Koretzky type of riders next season instead.

Seems pretty reasonable actually, he really shouldn't be that much of a threat to the pure Ardennes guys and that's because of his 74 ACC, which has become increasingly important since PCM 14. Would call it a slight overperformance to be honest, to finish 3rd in the favs group that is.
EDIT: But who am I to say that, I never had a 1M worth rider

Congrats to Movistar! This race just shows what my team is this season. Again with no serious contender in the squad we are unable to get into the breakaway and give ourselves a chance, getting very frustrating to not be able to utilize a chance like this.

Amazing race for Movistar, that will help a lot you have to think.
Thanks for the report, I enjoyed that.
Wellens in around 20th is decent for a race where we have no real leaders.

Thanks everybody. Pure craziness. Don't know what to say.
Hopefully this will provide some more insight into our triumph: Inside the team car for our first PT classic win and 1-2 double in program history.
