Could potentially be better riders available for Spain's Road Race Team (Anton Martin over Criado?) but I won't complain since you've done a fantastic job here!

Great job Roman, this will again add lots of interest to pre-season. WCC pleased to see a wide-range of our riders feature across the different continental competitions. It's also interesting that the start-list highlights such depth in certain countries that are not generally considered to be cycling heartlands (IRL).

Dammit. That was probably my best chance at winning one of these.

This was a weird race on such route.
In the end still great to see how the strognest riders in a weak field take the top spots no matter if being sprinters or not.
Thanks for this opener Roman! |

Great report and some thrilling racing.
Happy to see Nurmi putting in such a strong race. Looks like he could be a real asset on the flat this year. And funny to see Valio riders pulling to drop other Valio riders - can I have a bit of teamspirit please...

Wow such a shame that Cohen missed the Podium in this race, but nonetheless looks like a solid rider, so glad he could participate after a long race. Also nice to see so many of my other riders doing significant work too
Thanks for the thrilling race Roman

Forcellini got in the break which is about all I could expect from this one so safe to say I'm happy with that. Slightly strange seeing it not end up in a sprint, I wonder if the other races will follow suit or if the riders here (especially the domestiques) just aren't strong enough to deal with the wind well.

Very exciting racing, thanks Roman!
Absoloutley nothing for our team, but had no real expectations, so not really concerned.

Excited to see this and the Crits already running! Nice work to put it together for another season, Roman. And a nice report as well from the European B RR
If Kristoff gets a train here, I'm very curious to see how EBH might go, if he contributes to the train or not, as they will race together for some (too many) flat race days this season.
Though, seeing how the European B RR went, surely the rouleurs must fancy their chances. Congratulations, Spilak23! |

Thanks for the report! I really appreciated that the domestiques doing the dirty work at the front of the peleton were named. Too often it's just anonymous riders riding for team captain Y. Just reading that it was Kulppi who did part of the pacing made me appreciate this race a lot more. Thanks!
I liked seeing the fellow Baltic riders from Estonia doing well. If only their counterparts from Latvia will follow with an equal performance...
My highlight of the race though was the fight of the Finnish riders. Kulppi pacing at the front to get Vastaranta dropped was interesting
I'm pretty hyped for the European A race. Doha is the perfect place for my flat beasts Dzamastagic and Stoltz. With another nearly full Evonik team for Latvia and a Belgian team where Van Stayen will likely be the leader with Greg as one of his strongest team mates this feels like a first opportunity to see my guys in action
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Ah, havent noticed this thread until the race report itself.
Thanks for organising this Roman, even when it is a bit dull to have all races in Qatar when it is continental championships.
Pluchkin with a nice race on the unpopular parcours for him, he missed the A race by one spot, but who cares.
I am looking forward to what Ignatiev can possibly do here in A race, as one of the strongest roulers worldwide...

Nice! The exact sort of attack I had hoped Mandri would be succesfull with couple of times when I signed him. Good sign for the upcoming season.
Always feels good to win! Especially when it's your only rider in the race
