Renewals
We're finally allowed to reveal the details of renewals. In general we are content with the result, though since everyone accepted our first offer we could probably have saved a bit of money somewhere. Nevertheless all these riders should deserve what we're giving them.
Only two riders were released. Both announced since long.
 Mattias Westling have won half the sprint he has contested in his two-year stint with us. Sadly he only contested two sprints and that is just simply not good enough for a lead sprinter. That didn't stop him requesting a pay rise though. We wish him no particular luck in his further career and advice everyone that signing him counts as gambling.
 Matti Manninen have been less than impressive lately and after winning the Finnish NC we agreed that he needed some peace and quiet to find the legs needed to deserve wearing the jersey. Since he has been deep inside the Finnish woods all this time we could not negotiate a new contract in renewals, but we have just recieved some promising training data from him that makes it veery likely he will get a new contract nonetheless.
Our current team looks like this:
Looking for Leaders
We are generally happy with the current shape of things, but it is obvious to anyone that we need PCT-level leaders. In contrast to our previous #BringHomeVastaranta campaign we have no particular name at the top of our list just yet, even though we would love to be able to contest on the flat as well.
What we want from a future leader is plain and simple skills. Age and nationality will come second to that as the amount of potential leaders from our home nations are tiny at best. If they have a nice wage as well that would make us look a bit deeper in the money tank. We'll even put in something from the milk tank for the right rider!
Looking for pasture elsewhere
The careful reader will notice that several of our riders would do well with a trip to PT.
Olli Kulppi is our beloved young cobbler with a nice attacking attitude. Last year he rode for Evonik - ELKO where he was a key helper for Boonen while also getting some nice results with the youth jersey in De Panne and a nd place in his debut Roubaix.
Sakari Lehtinen is a talented young climber, who have done well for us as a helper in the past, several times keeeping up with the best in Tour of America for example.
Philip Lindau is a brilliant all-rounder who will be useful almost anywhere for almost anyone. He would benefit a lot from a loan-out but could equally well stay with us as a valued member of the team - especially since he also has a good nose for breakaways.
Going to the market
In theory all our riders are available for the right offer. A guy like Vastaranta though would need someone on Pliuchkin level though so he'll probably stay where he is.
In general we like riders to be where it suits them best so if you have a certain connection to any on our rider feel free to say when time comes so then we can probably work something out.

Nice renewals for you, certainly a good base to build on during transfers.
Metinvest could be interested in offering one of your young talents a chance to ride in PT for one year, as we will most likely need a bit more strenght in certain muddy discipline.

Thanks, though it annoys me getting all in first round. Probably could have saved even more money

As I have a theory about who you might be thinking about I'd just like to point out that he was the very first rider I signed, h was rider of the year for both the previous two season and his nickname is "the Ox". Some offers need to be more right than others but I'm not ruling anything out

Farewell and Good Luck
We wish both Linus Dahlberg and Viktor Renäng the best of luck at their new team KAYAK-Clas Ohlsson.
While we have been very happy with their services in the previous seasons it's also clear that none of them would be able to play a central role in the PCT so we're happy to see them return to the new Swedish CT-outfit.

Matti Manninen The next rider w can welcome have barely been away. After a couple of less than impressive seasons (the first as stagiaire) he have finally found the talent we always thought he had. The first sign being when he won the Finnish National Championship last year and now he have emerged as a full-fledged sprinter talent, who should be able to bring many great moments to the Finnish cycling fans in the future.

Lo Cicero is a gamble but I'd expect him to do better in PCT. Manninen is a great finish talent. It was obvious that he would somehow end up at your team and I'm glad that Liepins found such a nice new home.

Just a quick run-down of the last transfers before we make the full team presentation.
First off we are very happy to have signed Joonas Henttala after he got stuck at Team Type 1 last year. With us he should be able to develop into a very competent climber.
Soon after we signed Samuel Halme, who will be a valued member of our TTT train while we will also help him get closer to a higher level for the future.
By then we hoped to be able to add one last back-up leader or big talent, but fell just short financially of those left on the market. So we signed  Bernhard Eisel to help Matti Breschel on the cobbles.
Roope Nurmi is a future lead-out for Manninen while Jesse Kaislavuo can develop in several directions be it as lead-out or more of an allrounder. Time will tell what his future will be.
Oskari Vainionpää, Hiski Kanerva and Gustav Höög were all signed as stagiares with special thought on Tour de l'Avenir.
Also in are  Dominique Mayho and Krists Neilands, who will be gathering experience on our team this year before returning to their "actual" teams next season.
All in all we have gained a few leaders during the transfer season while also expanding our Finnish base. Time will tell how far that can take us.

I`m glad you took care of Gustav Höög, I wanted to sign him on 50.000 wage but unfortunately I didnot have space for him...
