Time for our season goals announcement, our sponsors were willing to allow us a wider approach throughout Europe, so we took advantage of that by targeting races all around. Although we've already decided we will not attend Corsica International and will focus instead on the Tour of the Czech Republic. Our real focus however are wins in Ukraine and Bayern Rundfahrt, which have always been pretty important to us with our love of hills.

The transfer season is coming on a little slower this year than last for us, but we're finally able to confirm our first new signing:
Petar Panayotov | Age: 29 | OVL: 75.14 | Climber
Bulgarian climber Petar Panayotov was the first cyclist to join our team for just €100,000, he's a strong climber with some decent results for Lululemon (now Podium Ambition) last season. While we were hoping to get a top leader (mostly failed due to incorrectly spelling Brajkovich's name on the contract, multiple times), we've decided he would settle for a rider who can give us some consistant results, while we focus our budget on other areas, so Petar is a perfect fit for the team.

He's a good rider, and with 3 84MT guys most likely in PCT next season it's a good move to focus on other areas. Wish I had the same thought earlier

An absolute bargain at 100k, it must be said. Nice buy.

@the_hoyle: Thanks
@Eden: I was planning to sign Brajkovich but when I saw some of the guys entering the PCT, I was lucky enough to be overbid so I could stay away from the climbing focus. More luck than foresight really
@Count: Thanks, unfortunately none of my other buys look like their going to be good prices at all.

Transfers are progressing great, we've signed a leader for next season as well as a new Polish talent!
Luis Leon Sanchez Gil | Age: 33 | OVL: 75.96 | Puncheur
Luis Leon Sanchez is our new leader for hilly tours, last years PCT standings winner for Evonik is getting old and isn't quite as good as last year, but he's still a very high quality rider who we hope can get some top results for us this season.
FL | MO | HL | TT | STA | RES | REC | CB | SP | ACC | FG | DH | PRL | 75 | 76 | 78 | 74 | 77 | 77 | 77 | 62 | 60 | 74 | 77 | 63 | 74 |
Przemyslaw Kasperkiewicz | Age: 22 | OVL: 70.18 | Cobblist
Pot 6 | Level 1
We've finally signed a high quality talent to race with us, Przemyslaw Kasperkiewicz came to us on a 200k wage but he is an incredibly talented rider on the cobblestones and we're expecting him to improve significantly into one of the world's top riders (Potentially 81 in CB), he's also a rider who loves to attack at this point and has skills riding on the hills, time trials and flat roads, unfortunately we might not get the pleasure of racing with him this season, as we hope to loan him out to a team in the Continental Division this season.
FL | MO | HL | TT | STA | RES | REC | CB | SP | ACC | FG | DH | PRL | 69 | 66 | 70 | 70 | 68 | 70 | 67 | 72 | 56 | 65 | 76 | 67 | 72 |
Matteo Rabottini | Age: 29 | OVL: 73.92 | Puncheur
Matteo Rabottini is a strong Italian puncheur, we based our team on hill talent last season, so we decided that brining in another rider who was strong on the hills wasn't a bad move, Matteo will race in support of Luis Leon Sanchez for much of the season, although we hope to give him his own chances in hilly classics.
FL | MO | HL | TT | STA | RES | REC | CB | SP | ACC | FG | DH | PRL | 70 | 74 | 76 | 65 | 74 | 73 | 68 | 54 | 67 | 68 | 65 | 64 | 65 |

Kasperkiewicz is on a pretty decent wage actually considering he isn't really that bad already. He's going to be scary in a few years though.

Gratz with LLS, we will meet him and you on the battlefield
Decided not to go for Kasperkiewicz and glad I didn't, which I think will only have made us both miserable. Hope he can do well for you in the coming years

Thanks guys!
@eden: The wage is pretty decent, but since I have to loan him off to the CT this season (and want to pay at least 120k of it to not have a massive fee but I'll probably end up paying more of it), it's a bit of a dent in the teams budget which won't be used to keep us from relegation. Hopefully that won't matter though.
@danny: Thanks, Roche will crush him though.
Glad you didn't go for Kasperkiewisz too as you're right that would've been bad for both of us so thanks for that.

We've finally signed our big leader for this season after a surprising change in focus.
Maxime Vantomme | Age: 30 | OVL: 76.12 | Sprinter
At first this season we were planning to stay away from sprints and be led by Sobota whenever one came up, but after being scared by the climbers market, we've invested in Belgian sprinter Maxime Vantomme! After riding for the disbanding TomTom team last season, we've hired him on a 500k wage, which isn't cheap, but well worth it for his abilities. Hopefully he can prove this with some good results this season!
FL | MO | HL | TT | STA | RES | REC | CB | SP | ACC | FG | DH | PRL | 73 | 55 | 64 | 64 | 76 | 65 | 79 | 70 | 82 | 78 | 67 | 64 | 64 |
Pawel Bernas | Age: 26 | OVL: 71.88 | Barodeur
Polish cyclist Pawel Bernas was signed for a number of reasons, but mostly because he is a rider who can fill many different roles for the team, he's strong on the flat roads to support Vantomme or other riders early in the race but he is also fast up hills to support LLS, he's also a rider who loves to attack, so we may see him up the road a bit too, not to mention, he's Polish, a perfect fit for our team.
FL | MO | HL | TT | STA | RES | REC | CB | SP | ACC | FG | DH | PRL | 75 | 60 | 73 | 66 | 73 | 70 | 67 | 62 | 69 | 71 | 81 | 71 | 65 |

Our last rider today as we hone in our the completion of our 2016 squad!
Adrian Honkisz | Age: 28 | OVL: 73.27 | Puncheur
Adrian Honkisz is another rider who adds depth and flare to the team, he's Polish and talented up hills, meaning he can provide support for LLS but also race as a free agent when the chance arises, which makes him a useful rider in every hilly race we attend. We hope he can have a great season racing with us.

Some great signings from our polish friends!
Kasperkiewicz is a beast in the making, when i see his stats, it reminds me of Sylvain Chavanel when he will reach the max level. I hope we will have a chance to help you with it in the future, if you would need it.

Thanks Avin I don't know where the team will be in the next few season but perhaps we will get the chance to work with you to train him.

So close to the end of transfers, but we managed to pick up a final co-leader!
Andrea Palini | Age: 27 | OVL: 75.19 | Puncheur
Andrea Palini is another great man for the hills, perfect for hilly races were we don't have Sanchez or to be a co-leader/act as a super-domestique where we do. This makes him incredibly useful for us as a team with a hilly focus, so we're hoping he can have a good season with us.

Thanks guys Since I couldn't sign a full-on hill leader for hilly races without a time trial, I decided to go for an approach with more depth and attacking, hopefully it pays off.
