Had a hard time deciding who to place my money on for this one - think Rabon in with a top chance, but just favoured Acevedo through the Colombian brotherhood . He has not dissimilar stats to Kolobnev who picked up 2nd for Nutresa last year. Will be interesting to see how controlled or otherwise the hilly bunch will be in this years puncheur heavy CT, and with new PCM AI to drive us all insane!

Looking forward to the start of the season
Hoping for Duggan, Selander and especially Martinez in his home race debut to get a good result.

Awesome our first race!
Damn, sponsor objective is to win this thing.
Well you should have used your budget for a rider like Godoy instead of on support riders for an awesome lead-out for Richeze!

Apart from that, I'm going out on a slight limb and say Godoy is this year's Beltran and will start to show that here, this division just needs a dominant/overperforming South American.
One season too late.
A Godoy win would be nice to see, for me, however, I can't see him improving on his 16th place last season, especially as a domestique for Acevedo here.
Should take in plenty from this result. Will riders like Lejman, with poor flat stats, show as well as last season? Marco makes a decent point so I'm going to go with a left-field Martinez win for this one. Hard to call. |

2 riders that our out on loan riding here (Bertilsson & Jacobsen) but don´t expect them to do any impact here at all.

I'm really hoping Mendes can turn this into the best start possible for us.
we really need to score in the hilly classics overall...
And San Cristobal is also a Top10 goal for us, but I would be pretty disappoint if Mendes didn't at least achieve this one.

Considering 3 Puma riders (well 2 plus Delage) will support Gaimon here, I'm obviously cheering for In-N-Out to repeat last year's performance.

I agree with this post
Hopefully the pairing of Acevedo and Godoy can score well here, would be nice to get the season off to a good start, especially as we have Top 5 as a goal. Should be pretty achievable, fingers crossed! Excited to see the season get off to a start so quickly!

I've got a feeling about Vastaranta winning this one.

So scared and excited now. Fortunately I've had a really good day with my own cycling, so the inevibility of Sinkewitz not winning (note, posted before the report) won't be too bad.
But please win/podium Sinkewitz/Netia

5th, that's pretty good , considering I didn't bring Zeits, 15th and 16th from Stachowiak and Der as well.
Congrats Silvio (looking forward to Mendes against Zeits now ) and thanks tsmoha.

68 Félix Emilio Besada Mobil - Aeropostal Ciclismo s.t.
9 minutes behind the leader.... Well, shit. I guess MO stat counted somewhat, since Ferrari finished on the front group. But Besada's performance leaves a lot to desire...

The season is underway. Thanks for starting up so quickly, it really is amazing!
Still the huge gaps worry me. If they are only this big in the one day races its fine, but if you lose 8 minutes for being 25th on a hilly stage it can seriously fuck up the gameplay imo. And that is said from a manager who should really benefit from those stages.

Guess it may look different in stage races, but we've seen the peloton sitting up for no reason the past two eeditions. So anyone remaining in the bunch will lose big time, this we've seen already last season.
Mendes with a great move. Congrats!

Quite pleased by this season start. Too bad Mendes caught Rabon in the end, but I'm glad he held on to second. Also great to see Pozdnyakov 7th in the end. Hopefully the team can keep up such a performance for the rest of the year (yes I'm looking at you Serebriakov)
And before I forget, congrats to the manager of the fellow Russian team

4th and 6th sucks a little, but I guess the AI believed Durasek was the leader. However 3 in the favorite group in the end is quite good
Thanks for the report
