AG2R would obviously love to participate as well.
We have just got 3 eligible riders (Cattaneo, Bonilla, Kaas) so we would apprecciate merging with another team

Drapac Cycling will be willing to participate in the Youth League, but both Tomohori and Matt have the right to refuse if they would rather not ride in this competition.

None of Bousche, Martinez or Birt will participate.
No Androni riders will take part either, this includes custom riders.

Now that all our Wildcard applications are accepted, we will ride a lot of races in Italy and Belgium in this season part. Our first CT race will be the Tour de San Luis, where Sagan will try and win a stage for us, after he failed last year. Josh Burton will be making his debut for us here.
Our only race in February will be Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. While Sagan races in San Luis, this is where it will all start for him. The start of his Spring Classics campaign. We hope he can be as successful as last year.
March is a busy time for us and we start with a weekend in Italy with the already classic Strade Bianche and the next day we will race Roma Maxima. Sagan will be looking to repeat his victory from last year, while Moser and Battaglin will be hoping for victory in Rome.
After a few WT races, we head back to Belgium for more cobbles, with Dwars Door Vlaanderen and Driedaagse De Panne - Koksijde. Sagan will be looking for more victories here, while also shaping his form for the big races in April.

Can we still sign up for the youth league?
If so, (and it doesn't take any race days) Charlie Charneux will race, but no Vaconsoleil riders can, custom riders can contact me if they want to.
Lipawsky brothers aren't allowed to due to their manager wishing to have no Androni riders racing

With our calendar completed, we can now release the race programs for our two EPIC youngsters.
Silvio Pennarossa
Silvio will start his 2nd season with us at the Strade Bianche. Then he'll go to the Roma Maxima. At Tirreno - Adriatico, he will aim at the Time Trials. He'll be helping Peter in Milano - Sanremo and might he survive the cobbles in the Driedaagse De Panne, he might have a shot at the GC there. If not, he'll target the Time Trial.
Strade Bianche | [08.03] | Roma Maxima | [09.03] | Tirreno - Adriatico | [12.03 » 18.03] | Milano - Sanremo | [23.03] | Driedaagse De Panne - Koksijde | [01.04 » 03.04] |
Josh Burton
Josh will make his debut for us at the Tour de San Luis. The Time Trial might ruin his chances for a good GC, but we hope he'll show himself in the mountains anyway. After a break he will return to the front in the weekend of Strade Bianche and Roma Maxima. Then he will head off to Spain for fun in the mountains at the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, where he gets his first chance to lead our team.
Tour de San Luis | [20.01 » 26.01] | Strade Bianche | [08.03] | Roma Maxima | [09.03] | Volta a Catalunya | [24.03 » 30.03] |

Tour de San Luis
Guillaume Boivin
Nathan Brown
Josh Burton
Hugh Carthy
Jonathan Dibben
Francesco Lasca
Fabio Sabatini
Peter Sagan
Peter Sagan will be back this year at the Tour de San Luis, looking for that stage win, he missed out on last year. Josh Burton will be making his debut here, looking for a good race in the mountains. Other riders making their debut are Hugh Carthy, Jonathan Dibben, Nathan Brown and Francesco Lasca.
Team objective: stage win
Stage | Winner | Best Finisher | Place | Time | 1 | Peter Sagan | Francesco Lasca | 9 | s.t. | 2 | Marc De Maar | Peter Sagan | 7 | s.t. | 3 | Peter Sagan | Josh Burton | 15 | + 3'22 | 4 | Luke Durbridge | Peter Sagan | 13 | + 34 | 5 | Stephen Cummings | Peter Sagan | 4 | + 36 | 6 | Ioannis Dimitriou | Peter Sagan | 13 | + 1'57 | 7 | Ben Swift | Peter Sagan | 4 | s.t. |
After failing to get a stage win last year, we got two wins this year. Sagan did what we asked of him and he even won the General Classification. With a few more top 10 spots he also claimed the Points Classification and the Young Rider Classification. However, while Peter finished it off, he had 7 team-mates who did amazing to get him those results. Lasca got a top 10 finish on stage 1, while newcomer Josh Burton showed that he is a big talent, with a great 15th place finish on stage 3. In the youth league Tomohori Hatanaka is raring to ride for Drapac and Carlos Bonilla and Juan Pablo Asquez will ride unless their managers see different.
All IAM youngsters will participate.
Only if it doesn't use race days!

Hello once again everyone. Josh here, waiting in my hotel room in Argentina, pacing the floor in excitement. I can't wait to start my second pro season here at Cannondale with the Tour de San Luis. I'm currently rooming with another new signing, Hugh Carthy, and I think the manager wants us to form a strong bond over the next year as we're similar riders. It feels strange to have riders younger than me in the team but I will pass on all of my considerable experience to him and Jon Dibben.
The lineup is pretty insane for a fairly low-profile race but with it being a season opener, there are always likely to be some great riders with no form testing their legs, so hopefully I can compete with them even though I know I wouldn't normally be able to. The main goal for the team here is to get Peter at least one stage win after he somehow failed last year. Even though the other five guys in the team are here for Peter, I'm sure Hugh and I may be put to work at some point but hopefully not.
And on that note, it's great to get up close to the Tourminator himself. He has such ridiculous ability, I'm just glad I'm on his team, not against him. Unsurprisingly, the entire squad is built around him and will remain that way for a while yet. He has that natural confidence that all winners have and it would be nice to have a proper chat with him at some point, though I'm not sure what language that would be in.
I'm going to give it my all here to get some sort of result as I have more than a month until my next race. If it doesn't hurt, you're not trying hard enough.
Josh Burton

The first stage in San Luis put our season in motion and we have already got our first stage win. This is a great moment, considering last year it took us until the Strade Bianche to finally win something. Peter won with quite a margin and we are confident he can get more stage wins here.
As a joke, someone switched our team caps for full pink ones. The look on the faces of the organisation was hilarious and Peter looked really ridiculous on the podium. At dinner he applauded the guys for the prank and thanked them for their hard work.
This will be a great year.

I think you have the only good lead-out of the race. Bardiani doesn't have the worst, but Sagan had such a gap before sprinting.

After our first stage win of the season in San Luis, we now have our first World Tour victory as well. Neo-pro Villella was part of the breakaway on stage 3 in the Santos Tour Down Under, which stayed ahead of the peloton. With 5 km to go he attacked to get rid of Drapac's Morton and he stayed ahead to win the stage. With the gained time he also takes over the leaders jersey. We will try to defend it, but there are many strong riders here in Australia. Fingers crossed.
