Third is a very good result, I can't complain. Things seem very haywire in the bunch and considering many other sprinters came in behind Maksimov, I can't complain. We do need a win desperately - only then I'll be content.

Not bad had the best sprint train so hopefully that means something in the coming stages. |

Gasparotto nowhere to be seen in the sprint, but at least Bikienga put in a great ride to go into 3rd overall. Hopefully on the bumpier stages Gasparotto can be more involved. |

Goss.... I know i had some great races most recently, but i always said this is a key-race. 27th and 11th in those sprints is just... Poor.
Gratz, valv! Must be a nice win for you

Ah, man. I really thought Maksimov would win from that position. I guess the hills were just a bit too much for him. In that case, the next stage will probably be a bust.

Ignatiev has to win this race, i dont agree this is race for Oz to loose, it is race to loose for Ignatiev with him being like 5-8 points stronger in overall compared to Oz tt-ists, but daily form in TT will de deciding factor in the end (sadly).
We need win, or we are seriously f*ck*d

Ok? Has anyone ever had their best rider beaten by a control rider in the GC? Two flat stages, every rider is 7.55 behind. I suspect we won't win this race. Someone should at least consider joining a break.

Agree, of course. Ignatiev has to win. But with now two possible GC-threats, also we have something to lose Even more, since Gossy ain't in shape...

Yeah, two in top5 or rather at podium should be the goal for Oz. At least Olman is out of the game.

as was expected Kurpenagel to be consistent and to always be in the top 10. I know that the fight for the victory will be almost impossible but the top10 in all flat stages is the goal.
PS: Avin unfortunately I think that Ignatiev will not win and this will be one more race to OZ

A stage win I was expecting something to go just slightly wrong like always so that Lo Cicero would finish 2nd, but I was pleasantly surprised

A second no-show for us in the sprint. Need Gasparotto to at least try here or we're going to end up with no points. |

That would be absolutely horrible, as Rogers have 68 flat, Ford has 63! and Ignatiev has 80. If this will be even close because of daily form or whatever broken mechanic of the game, flat is just another useless stat in PCM 13. If stats should make any sense, Reus should be the biggest threat for Mikhail in that TT.

The flat stat is definitely not useless though plays a quite big role in longer races/stages, so Ignatiev will benefit from that. Of course it ain't a factor in TTs itself, which makes sense, imo.

I was not aware of that, is that new for PCM 13? I thought that TT is mainly combination of TT/ACC and stat that is used for slope, so in TT, usually FLAT (andf in Denmark TT, only flat). It used to be like that in older installments of PCM
IN PCM 13, it looks like only TT and daily form are used though?
I t would not make sense to me, if flat is not used forr TT, as for example mountain or hills stat is used for hilly TTs, so it would make perfect sense to use flat for flat TT...

Flat has never been used for TT in any PCM game since at least 2008 as has been proved by testers many times.
Anyway another great lead out from Torckler and Docker and a shame again that Vanderbiest just couldn't make the most of it hoping for bonus seconds soon |

Ok, i have lived in an illusion, thanks for clearing that up.
What about acceleration, i know it also had effects in TT in the past, also gone? Because that would mean only sole TT stat is used for flat TTs and that would be pretty crazy, no wonder that daily form seem to have such an effect on TT outcome...
So now i hope for Ford and Rogers to be dropped in two remaining road stages.
