We need to stop buying PCM next year even for the geeky right here!
I began and did not buy this shit! Ok I play on it but after a TDF I'm glad i didn't have it! I was with Pinot 4th before the Alps and finishes 16 @ more than 30 min and can't do anything with any rider even when they finishes in grupetto! I simulate the last 6 stages cause it pisses me off!

you guys are aware that FM is also seen as "buggy" by parts of their core community ? That they had major bugs in the game for a loooong time that went unfixed often until a version or 2 later ? (just 2 examples being: scoring ridiculously easy on set pieces with certain settings, adding of leagues causing the game to overflow with players causing massive slow downs and crashes)
And the AI in FM is to this day not doing a good job at all at developing their talented youngsters because of a flaw in the games core (reputation as too big a factor, making for a very gradual, predictable decision making by AI managers and coaches)
still a kick ass game, but claiming it is bug-free is insane and i would argue it is not all that much better than PCM in that regard.
The corner exploit is something you can chose to exploit or not.
The difference about FM bugs and PCM bugs is that the bugs in FM are almost entirely avoidable. The bugs in PCM always seem to be in core parts of the game, and it seems a new feature never comes in and isn't filled with bugs. There are bugs in the actual gameplay that cant be avoided like in FM.

Great point, valverde. Using exploits is optional, and as you're only playing it single player, you're only doing yourself an injustice by using them, a bit like the training camps in PCM. And as JD said earlier and I keep moaning about, FM is rich pickings for cyanide. Maybe other sports management games like OOTP Baseball too. Just steal the ideas!
Been robbed of an entire objective due to a bug now in PCM 2014, so utterly sick of it. |

No, it's not Cyanide's mistake. It's mistake of us, stupid cycling geeks, that keeps on buying this shitty game year after year.
Suddenly, I don't feel that bad for not buying it yet. |

Sad to hear that the reasons i gave up on PCM years ago still apply today always unfinished product once all patches are out and each year they remove features intentionally to make you buy it again next year.

I'm not quite sure what everybody is talking about to be honest. I've only played this year's game for one day so far, but seems to me like it is a lot better and logical than the previous one (I only played 2007 and 2009).
Haven't seen any weird bugs so far, no crashes and what is most important for my personal fun: In this year's game it is possible again to actually get through with a breakaway, which seemed impossible in the earlier games.
I'm quite happy so far, can't speak about the long term career development yet though. |

completely ! I'm the one who pray to cyanide release the game in January/February ! They have to think in the real lovers of cycling, not in the "TdF" interest people ! The game will have the same or bigger margin. Just my humble opinion |

They don't care and they are capitalizing on the fact that as true cycling fans we need to buy this game or we have nothing.

Simple solution. Dont buy it on release. Wait a while. If they see sales are way down early on, maybe that will give them motivation to fix the game to its full potential. And not have them release minor patches for a month and then nothing the rest of the year because they've already made their money back

What are the bugs who are still in the game not related tot multiplayer?

Doesn't solve the problem for anyone who wants to play a proper season (or several), and also with realistic names etc.
I again agree with valverde - skip the next one at launch and post on the cyanide forum that you'll buy it if they make a functional product.
Also, don't forget that you may be entitled to a refund if the game doesn't work (using official files and providing your system meets min requirements). |

Read a few post above on what i said for example!
Fitness management is terrible for the player
And today i would like to go in a breakaway that has 1m30, the bunch ride like hell behind me, that's ok, BUT... 10sec later a cannondale rider attack, I counter attack but coulnd't go so i stopped attacking and then the bunch stop to ride...
AI is always against you... Fuck you Cyanide

Not always.
When i want take part of a breakaway takes me like 2 or 3 tries. And IA isn't against you every time. For example, I'm playing with a weak continental team, and the others teams takes the control of the bounch and let me attack with a weak rider that has lost time in GC. |

I was playing on a only stage, you played in carreer? Think carreer-stage/tour aren't riding the same way
And FYI I was with Veikkanen on a flat stage so there was no reason to ride against me and let a rider going after no?

do you have Demare and/or Bouhanni in that stage? if not I can't really think of a reason the AI wouldn't let you go

Yes I had Bouhanni, don't know what the problem could be with him in my team
