In my opinion the spanishbase is the best db at the moment. It's simple to install because pcm espana made a video tutorial that explain the installation and it's simply, only copy two folders and the db is in your pcm and there are four links for download. The only bug i've seen is thet there are 5 pink squares.

I think that login in this forum to say that the Spanishbase or PCM Focus DB is the better when you are member of the forums that do the DB is cowards. You should be more objective with your opinions

Agreed. Besides, concerning ivato's post, how can the Spanishbase be the easiest to install when I see 7 download links in the thread but doesn't specify which ones should be installed? Besides, part of the installation has to be done manually (like deleting files that come with the game by yourself, instead of the DB overwriting them which would be much much easier) and also the sponsorkits, instead of it being a single .exe file which already does it all for yourself. In terms of 'how easy it is to install', I really really doubt the Spanishbase is the easiest to install.
As for the bugs, I also doubt that there are no other bugs than the 5 pink squares. Just by looking at Clos de Pirque - Trek you can already spot 3 different bugs: the team is declared as Colombian, when it should be Chilean; Antonio Cabrera in the DB is French, while he is Chilean too; and the sponsor is declared as Chinese when it should be Chilean.
With another 2 minutes, looking at Team Ecuador, you can already see more bugs: the team is set as Colombian, when it should be Ecuadorian; both Jonathan Caicedo and Carlos Quishpe are French in the DB, when they should be Ecuadorian.
On top of that, there's also the fact that some stats are really bad (for example, Juan Sebastian Tamayo, 3rd in last year's Vuelta a Guatemala, 4th in this year's Vuelta a Mexico, currently 50th in UCI America's Tour, has 68 FL and then 55 in ALL stats - except for 65 in SPR - sprint, really?? - and several riders who have 55 in ALL stats, including other 5 riders like that in team Funvic alone!) and other things like all new teams having "white" as auto-color color instead of their real color. There's really a lot of things that can be improved in the Spanishbase.

I think that the only work that they do is copy the shirts, stages and others files but i don't be anyone to say this because I won't download his DB. For me his work don't have value but I respect his effort.

That won't work. A lot of DBs have different philosophies.
Like a lot of teams/few teams(but quality), and BeNeLux focus/USA focus/Southern-Europe focus.
Plus, people will never agree about the stats and the stat matrix used.
And communication won't be easy either

You are right, but it would be great if there would be a colaboration regarding images.
I have not checked all packages but if found many outdated images already. I believe that some DB makers re-use the images from their old DBs.
For example the rounded flags appeared 2 or 3 years ago and everybody still puts them into their package altough it does not fit into this years game. (To be honest, the flags which come with the game don't fit either.) I recommend the plain flags from Markene: https://pcmdaily.c...hp?did=799
(Sadly his package does not contain all flags but it makes the game look much better) |

Not easy to say. No huge DBs out yet, but the Spanishdb, FDB and Adamb's DB all add quite some stuff
I'd say FDB atm, but that's just my personal opinion

So as for the stat matrix, I'd love to see something similar to [url=www.soccerwiki.com]SoccerWiki[/url] that we could simply have the whole PCM world use and evaluate. (I brought this up in another thread, however got no response). I don't have the technical abilities to do such a thing, but would be willing to help where I could.
