Just checked about the post-race crashes of races and am not able to fix it, now.
The following uploads are affected:
Deutsche Meisterschaft (Road Race)
Deutsche Meisterschaft (Time Trial)
Irish Championships (Road Race)
As far as I can see the results are saved correctly and simulating works without any problems, but game crashes after the stage when the podium ceremony should be shown in 3D-race.
Reason for the crashes might be linked to the fact that I created these stages using PCM13th (just in the early state) and PCM14th editor.
Reconverting and changes to the podium didn't change the outcome, ideas welcome.
Download: Delta Road Race
Converted stage with minor changes (not routewise).

Is it possible for you to have a crack in making this years Arctic Race of Norway. It´s looks very nice with the first stage ending all the way north at Nordkap.
The only variant today is via a cdx file and then picking up stages from Tour of Norway instead. That´s the arctic variant for 2013.
I will try out to to ask about what happens to in-game sprints and mountain points when using cdx-file.
Picking a race as Arctic one can not see any interim sprint result or mountain and I wonder what point system are in rule when using different stages from other stage races.
I fear that using a cdx-files should be only 1-day races where there is no issue with bonus pts, mountain pts sprints and similar.
Please explain if you got the time about this subject, since I can´t find anything in the forum. |

Sorry, clamel. Have no ambition to create the Arctic Race.
It's a tough one to make, because there exists no .dem-files for this Region and the rugged coastlines and pretty long stages are doing further. For me this would be a much to time consuming work right now, if I want to do the stages the "right way".
Actually I'm back into stage-making again and will be able to release one (or more) of the following 2014 season races the coming weekend...
Trofeo Alcide Degasperi
GP Capodarco - Comunità di Capodarco
Tour of Nanjing
While I paused the work on other races in creation process, but will hopefully find motivation somewhat later. All suffer the crash-bug at podium ceremony, caused by me using PCM13th and PCM14th editor during the creation process. I can use early saves to fix them, but the fact that some hours work was in vain demotivated.
Affected 2014 stages:
Tour de Suisse, stage 9
Garmin Velothon Berlin
Canadian Championships (RR + TT)

Could you then perhaps explain to a newbie in this stage making this fact.
Considering cdx-files.
They direct a certain race to a stage that actually are another race. So far I understand.
Now if it´s a 1-day race it´s ok, but if you (as in Arctic) is a tour I ran into problems with the sprint pts/mtn pts/bonus seconds.
My question is that if I pick stages from different other races will I then not get different "formula" of point systems.
In my case I would like to control how many points and seconds a race should have.
Races do have different such things I think, but then this might made inside the stage editor.
Can you give me a hint on how to handle this ???

In the stage editor you are only able to make the basic settings like the category of a climb. Points awarded for different climbs and intermediate/finish Sprints are ruled in the different classification.xml's afaik. So I guess the stuff you want to regulate can be set in STA_race within the used DB, but it's better to ask one of the skilled DB-makers.

Thanks for the answer.
I have been looking in the DBs, and not really find anything (at least not via Lachis editor)
I was thinking that the code for these pts was in the cds-file but I can´t open that one up with let say Notepad++.
I go on investigating ....
Did I mentioned that you are doing a great job with all those cool and beautiful stages. Do go on mate.

I can now say that these sprints and mountain points are NOT in the DB what I understant but in some way in the stage itself.
That´s the part where the stage is created by the Stage editor.
Using a cdx-file and pointing to two different stages as a first stage I got two totally different setup of sprint and mountain point stages.
I think I also found out that using a 2013 stage for PCM2013 will totally wreck the sprints and mountain jerseys.
The issue where a conversion from PCM13 stages to PCM14 stages are very important indeed. 1-day races works fine, but anytime you get a tour it will be different.
If you or anyone know much better please correct me and guide me to how these point systems are setup.

I thought there were .xml files with that information in it tied to each race. I can't remember if it's in the stage or race table in the DB.
EDIT: its Gene_sz_classification_xml in the sta_race table in lachi's editor. You just need to find those xml files on your computer and then they are al editable in notepad

As sammy said: sprint and KOM-points, as well as time bonuses, are linked to the xml-file choosen in STA_race --> gene_sz_classification (see pic below)
The different xml-files can be found in PCM --> XML --> Classifications
They seem to be easy editable (e.g. via windows notepad or editor) and pretty much self-explaining... (snapshots within spoiler)

Thanks a million, they have been driving mad.
I knew they had to be somewhere somehow.
I will get back with more stupid questions on this and the connections and results of using cdx-files.
My test have shown some strange differences when it comes to in-race sprints and mountain pts.
Now I can put these xml-files into the test. |

Most of the stages roads are re-used from former editions. Trofeo Alcide Degasperi 2012 and 2013 are available in PCM13th stage database section and can be used as variants.

In rar archive is only a cds file and not zces file. Could you reupload Trofeo Alcide Degasperi race, please? |

Now Sir,
that was a pleasant addition. Thank you
I think I saw this race (Nanjing) actually is covered by those pesky cdx-files (in this case Winston-Salem Classic actually)
I have been cleaning out that race (Winston-Salem) from yet another MISSING created race
The Philadelphia Cycling Classic, a nice city race along the river.
Perhaps sometime you might add this to your fine collection of races in the States. |

Thanks for the hint, I'll try to get it fixed, soon.
As long as it takes you can use the mediafire upload right here:

Thanks for the kind words. I took a look at the Philadelphia Cycling Classic and it seems short and interesting enough to give it a shot. Might get it done until the week ends.
