I set the controller down, took a bite of my sandwich, and resumed the game.
Wasn't much point in continuing because I was up 31-7 with a few seconds left
but each win counted as I had my Chiefs leading the AFC with an 11-2 record.
This was the closest I could get to reliving history; history that didn't exist.
3, 2, 1... Game over. As I was shutting everything down,
the front door opened and my mother walked into the house.
She was holding a large bag of groceries and a bundle of balloons.
"Come on Joseph! I told you to clean the house.
You haven't moved since I left."
"I had to finish my game. Jeez don't get so mad.
It's not like the President is coming over."
"But your father is!"
I wanted to just say 'whatever' but it wasn't worth upsetting my mother.
I never really knew my dad. I heard stories about him, well more like rumors.
He was always absent from my childhood, my youth, and my life in general.
In fact, I can only recall a handful of times of seeing him in person.
I certainly wasn't looking forward to meeting him all over again tonight.

Great to see this, hopefully it can be brilliant. Glad to see The Comeback have a sequel, and with Ian on board I think we're in for a treat.
Will be interesting to hear of Travis' life. Maybe not the best dad though.. |

@FroomeDog99: We will hear a little bit more from Travis, but he certainly isn't at the heart of this story.

@BBL: I see what you did there, very clever.
@All: Ian is having a few technically difficulties with the formatting of the reports and we aren't sure why. Since we can't figure out how to fix it right now the best solution is for Ian to post the report under his account and I'm going to quickly edit it afterwards so the format looks how it should.
Unless we can solve the mystery causing this, this is our only solution.

@547984: The duel account has it's own purpose. You will start to see that as we get further into the story. If it didn't there wouldn't be a need for the secondary account. So, we are extremely grateful CrueTrue made an exception and allowed us to create it.
