Any know who is leading Saxo, Majka or Roche. I know Majka did well here last year but the Race is starting in Ireland. Or will they ride like they did in the Vuelta and ride for the guy who is dong the best after the 1st week?

That's pretty stupid. peaking for a race where at least 2 guys on your team have much higher priority.
Trying to win the Tour for your team/get a stage win seems pretty good.
Meh in my opinion when you have the skill to lead a Grand Tour and instead you play 3rd fiddle for 2 other guys in your only peak of the season, that is a failure.

In-form Roche would be a massive asset to Contador in the Tour, probably even more so an asset for the team than peaking as a potential leader for the Giro. Not a clear cut case, but not a 'failure' either.
