I hope you are right with my team. It's a very nice prediction. I'm happy with that

Mate I think roturn and Count are being coy, for me Festina are one of the favourites for the PT Crown. I think Phinney may struggle to accumulate the same points as last year which will hamper the defending champs and Vesuvio are possibly the only other viable contenders (bar Simply Red Bull of course ).

Nah I don't really agree with that. I know Phinney isn't likely to win the GT's but he will still be able to win 3 small GC races, and podium on the GT he will ride. But more importantly, Summerhill and van Garderen will accumulate a lot of points. And atleast van Garderen have an amazing setup around him.
Wikipedia is for me the best bet for a win.

I don't think Phinney will be able to match last year either, he will be riding the Tour de France with the hope of grabbing yellow in the ITT (not losing too much time to ING in the TTT) and trying to hold on to a top 5 from there.
Overall, I'd say that Denifl's training was largely cancelled out by similar growth of other riders, and while SotD you lack a cobbler, I totally lack a sprinter capable of doing anything.

I hope you are right that I end around 15th and avoid relegation, that is the most important this year. Made my goals based on signing Sicard so wont make those :-p If I'm lucky I hope that I can reach top 10, but then I need my riders perform better than their stats.
Also as you noted I hope for my team to become a team that fights for a top 5 when my riders max out, will be interesting to see as other riders are trained to sick levels while I wait...

Another great preview of (not only) my team, thanks
Btw. how many teams will relegate? it´s late here and I´m lazy to seek.

@beagle: Late here as well and had a long day. So 4-5 I guess?
Next 3 teams added:
Swisscom - UBS
Team B&O
Team Bpost - Vlaanderen
Sorry for the last two missing teams (Tinkoff / Vueling). Just did not have enough time right now and will write those tomorrow I guess.
Quite funny though that right now I rate lots of teams a above relegation zone but on my provisional ranking being updated after every preview it`s only Rothaus - Aegon relegating so far.
So when posting the final ranking prediction in the end, some teams who got a top15 might slip down a bit as 15th-21st might be in the mix a lot.

I guess so. Last season it was 4, now after increasing of temas to 22 it could be 5.

Thanks for the nice words about my team, I'm really proud of what I've put together this season. I think you're right that we will be in the top 15, probably just outside the top 10. I'd be happy enough with that result.
After I failed to get Bakelants, I had to go for someone and Van der Hugenhaben was the only reasonable option with my nationality focus. I was set on selling Gautier because I knew I could get a massive amount of money for him (I received more for him than I paid for Van Den Broeck!) so keeping him wasn't an option. Plus VdHH gives me the extra stage racing option (he is our GC leader quite a few times this season). So sorry I beat you to him, but you ended up with Vantomme last time we did this so it seems fair to me

In the end I am actually not unhappy without VdHH. The wage just went too high for me and so I couldn`t have afforded Nizzolo, Dumoulin and Gomez Marchante then.
So in the end I probably would have relegated as well but with a bigger problem wage wise next season in PCT and Nizzolo and Dumoulin both will improve one more time after that season to help me more.
That said. he was the perfect fit for my National focus as Boom, Keizer, Olivier, VdHH would have been awesome.

Thanks for the preview of B&O, roturn, Top 10 would be amazing, but as you say that would take huge results. You forgot to new riders in Garby (loan) and Wilman

It is interesting to see the podium predictions for Vesuvio, here and elsewhere. On the one hand it is a very similar squad to last season where we barely scraped into 5th - but I suppose it does make sense with Pearl and Koenigsegg gone, Becherovka weaker in my opinion, and Wikipedia slightly too - and not such a Phinney friendly GT.
From what I have seen of PCM13, I am hoping that Gastauer can still score well while racing with Schleck. It is not worthwhile sending Frank to a GT this year though, so out and out leadership opportunites for Gastauer are not really there.

Not all transfers are listed. Only the best. Otherwise some teams would have too long lists. |

Quite interesting to see two existing PT teams on your relegation list. alexkr won't be happy at another relegation prediction though
