Another day, another wave!
Yohann Gene
This veteran French rider will hopefully be able to pass on experience to our younger riders while still providing some sprinting capability and use as a strong domestique.
Jonathan Millan
Another punchy sprinter we hope to have success this season as our team really starts to show what we expect to do well in. Milan gives us both depth and the ability to send talented squads to multiple places.
Jackson Rodríguez
Our first true climber, just kidding...he has a sprint too. Though he is a significantly better on the mountain than other riders on the team. He also brings a capable time-trial skillset to the team and will certainly be the team leader on stage races with mountains.

Victor Hugo Tarqui
Tarqui fits our team build as a punchy sprinter, and while not of the caliber of some of our other riders we expect he will be a tremendous domestique for the team.
Juan José Haedo
JJ Haedo is a great sprinter for our team giving us an incredibly strong 1-2 punch when paired with Farrar. We expect several wins from him this season.
Wilson Marentes
A Colombian all-rounder he will be a capable rider on everything but the cobbles able to give strong support for the sprints, or able to ride for himself on some hilly stage races.

Last group of new riders!
The team closed out their transfer period strong adding another four riders and a stagiare to the squad.
Mauricio Ardila
Our only pure climber, this veteran has likely only one year left in him, and we expect he will still be a great addition to our team giving us some valuable climbing ability and imparting many years of experience to the team.
Marcos Crespo
The 28 year old Argentinian sprinter should be a workhorse in our sprinting train likely one of the lead outs for Farrar or Haedo throughout the season.
Byron Guama de la Cruz
The addition of this Ecuadorian rider adds to the team as another punchy sprinter, likely a little more preferable to the mountains than the hills. More importantly though he is known for his strong attacking style that will be unique to a team of sprinters mostly waiting for the finish.
David Veilleux
David adds more to our overall sprinting squad, again also providing a decent bit of capability on the hills as well. A solid all-round rider for our team capable of being a great domestique or a team leader when needed.
Jose Luis Rodriguez
Merely 20 years of age, the young Chilean will be a stagiare for the team, able to join the team later this season. He is currently a solid all-rounder with very few weaknesses. We look forward to seeing his development over the season.

So how does the team look in their new kits you ask!? Well here is a preview, not everything in final yet, but we are getting close. But the team went out for an early training ride, and we caught some sneak peeks.

The kit indeed looks nice! The accessories are indeed pretty colorful (on the 2nd shot, the right shoe somehow reminds me of the Google Chrome logo)
ps.: that is Óscar Sevilla on Millán's picture, here's a picture of Millan.

Thanks I'm excited to get it into the peloton and start racing.
ps.: that is Óscar Sevilla on Millán's picture,
should be fixed now. As a side note, also incredibly hard to find a picture since his name is Jonathan Milan in the DB, not Millan or most correctly Millán. For those of us who don't know thousands of cyclists off the top of our heads, this took me a while to figure out.

Well here is our picture for the day...
Yep that is the very start of the race, and clearly the only time our team was relevant in the race. The bang we were looking to start the season with... well our gunpowder got wet, and instead we were a complete dud.
There really isn't much for us to say about this that should be said in the open, most of the words will have to be behind closed doors. But our sponsors aren't happy, I'm not happy, and I'm guessing none of our riders are happy. Our race in New Zealand can't get here fast enough now.

And I thought our first race was bad... At least we really weren't expecting anything in this TT.

The first day was a time-trial, where we didn't expect to do well, however today was for the sprinters, and we did expect to do well... but that didn't happen.
The sprint today was only for 2nd place as Earle took a solo victory, and Haedo seemed to be okay looking in good shape here to catch onto one of the sprint trains.
Things seem to fall apart very quickly though when the realization of the race being for 2nd became obvious. And we disappeared into another horrible day.

With only horrible days before, something had to change, and one of our veteran riders stepped up with David Veilluex getting into the breakaway!
He does some great work and cleans house on the KoM points, taking first over all three climbs!
He also decided he needed the sprint points too! And takes those with little resistance as well, at least he is getting our jersey some much needed respect.
However the sprint trains would clean things up a little, but with Haedo nowhere in sight, Veilleux also becomes our best option for the sprint as well, somehow managing to hold onto 14th on the stage.

After a good day from Veilleux, and another bad day of sprinting, would stage 4 finally change our tune? Nope. Once again the breakaway would get the best of the field and even in the mass sprint for 7th we were nowhere to be seen.
However Veilluex once again gets us on camera, though this time in the bad way as he is down after a crash late in the race.

Stage 5 offers us one last chance for redemption in this race, but once again it would be Veilleux that delivers, instead of our sprinters as he makes it into another breakaway.
He takes 2nd on the first KoM and 1st on the 2nd and final KoM of the tour, winning the classification and ending the race with a jersey for us!
David Veilleux continues his strong race though as the break again will beat the sprinters to the line and he is able to take 2nd on the stage just missing out against Josh Edmonson.
Overall this tour ended surprisingly well for a tour that went really bad. We came in hoping to win some sprints, came out with the KoM jersey and a 2nd place on the last stage. Making the best out of nothing I guess.

Would our sprinting fates change after a rough go of things in New Zealand? As nearly the same seven continue to race and hope for things to improve.
The answer would be no, as this race was equally as much of a mess as all of our previous days, and without things like a KoM to save us in a stage race, this sprint was an utter disaster with the only news for the team happening when our riders were dropped from the peloton as Haedo our sprinter wasn't even close to the front.

The racing would finally get away from Down Under, and our team would see a significantly different lineup as well. With Farrar taking leadership of the sprinting duties.
Though for the 2nd time already in this early year, Veilleux loses his bike and would have to try and race back onto the peloton. Things don't seemed to have changed much for our team.
With only 2 riders in the break in front, the 3rd place points at the intermediate sprint are up for grab, and Farrar shows some form as he takes them with some space to spare.
Also for the first time this season we see the Azteca sprint train, hopefully something to be feared by the other teams as they take the lead and work to set up Tyler.
With Millan's work done, Duque takes up the sprint Farrar on his wheel and nothing but open space in front as the job looks good and clean so far.
Everything looks great as they have pulled away and only one rider left to be beat as Farrar starts his sprint from behind Leonardo Duque! Finally looks to be a win for Azteca........but Farrar doesn't seem to accelerate, and loses ground!!!
However the world would be saved as Duque calmly continues his sprint and wins the race ahead of Harrison, while Farrar settles in for 4th and Millan grabs 10th for his work in the leadout.
An exciting first win of the season for our team, though we are yet to see anything go as planned. Our leadout train however did prove to be fearsome as it created plenty of space for us to operate.
