So with the new managers confirmed it's time to start work on Issue 2. It will be an issue dedicated to the new names gracing the lower division, so expect a number of short fire interviews along with the usual B3B piece. For Whale Watching i have a nice little idea lined up that should create some discussion.
I've 5000 words of coursework to do first so it won't be out until the Weekend at earliest. Just letting you know whats going on

@Bjarnte - Won't be too deep i'm afraid. Going to get a rough look at 3-5 managers i've picked out. But with large interview pieces through the season i'm sure i'll be back to some of them.
@bbl - Up to you
@aidanvn - Hopefully they'll carry a bit more weight and meaning in future seasons.
@dippo - Didn't make the cut for this issue i'm afraid, perhaps another time
@ALL - First round of interviews underway with three of the managers. Then got one or two more to sot out. Hopefully it will be a good issue

One interview completed, and all non-interview bits are written up! So that's 66% completed issue, but just a matter of writing up the interview answers when i get them back (you know who you are!) so assuming, in theory, it could get posted tonight!
Also following on from the Interactive Man-Game Map we are looking to run a number of related mapping projects. Details still being worked out but just another way to visually represent the Man-Game (i'm a geography student it fits so well). But yeah those are still in the early planning phases

@maxime - Don't worry, i never pick based off who reads. Hopefully get around to your one-day
@ALL - 99% finished now! 4 interviews written up and just waiting on the very final responses now.
To those managers who i PM'd but then didn't interview, sorry but i couldn't fit you in. To those i did but didn't make it in, again sorry but there was limited space. I'll get back to you again for a future issue

Ok so just waiting on 3 words (yes literally three words) to complete Issue #2. You know who you are! So hurry up and send me those one word answers.
And now onto Issue #3, and I NEED YOUR HELP
To help simply do the following:
1) Title a PM - The Sound: Issue 3 Help
2) In the PM i want a riders name who you think should be watched in the transfer period
3) Under the name put just one sentence explaining why they will be a rider to watch
4) You can put as many names as you like in the PM
Issue #3 is a Transfer Special and i want to fill it with as much rumor, gossip and chat as possible! If you have a rumor, gossip or anything like that then PM me with the title - The Sound: Issue 3 Rumor
If you have a press release you want us to publish send me a PM about it and i'll see if it can be slotted in.
There will be no big interview or feature, just 100% focused chat, rumor and gossip about transfers.
The more you guys contribute (even if it's ridiculous stuff that 99% won't happen) the better it will be!

Volume 2: Issue 1
New Managers Special
Includes
Four, yes 4, interviews! Short chats with LLS, Ollfardh, NTTHRASH and Scorchio about joining the Man-Game, as well as short article about the new managers in general
Sound Wave focused on in-house Transfer plans
Whale Watching about one of the newer aspects of the game
Note: Mediafire was being rubbish, so hosting on Google Drive. We'll see how it works and i'll probably update the link once Mediafire behaves itself

Interested to find out on what basis the interviewees were chosen.

Random selection from the list. Didn't look and didn't think. When i have 23 names to go from it's just easier

Thanks TMM these are always enjoyable and I felt an improvement on the first issue.
It us nice to hear from managers - I think telling the story of a couple of key transfer men in the next issue will be good. I will say it midway Sicard, Dombrowski and Herklotz will be the three I would follow. But there is possibly more
Just wondering if some sort of non offensive but opinionated editorial - an alter ego piece might work in theseto add some spice?

Thanks, this was more organized and directed Issue which probably helped.
I don't particularly want to cover those big names in too much detail. Everyone kind of knows the story and who's interested already. I might take that idea and switch it some of those outside names. Like the sprint market is flooded and picking out someone like Mezgec from there could work better.
Opinionated editorial. I could easily do one but for now i'll stick to 'serious' pieces. The Sound is going to form part of my writing CV so i can't go too abnormal yet.

A nice write up and some nice responses too
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

Got some nice messages for Isse #3!
But please try and be interesting. We all know Dombrowski, Herklotz, Ewan, Sicard, Marchado, Bakelants etc The big guys aren't news. So, even if it's a joke one, be different. Otherwise i'm gonna have to trawl the DB and ruin all the secret surprises
