You mean you guys also had the idea of recreating Trek Factory's helmet based on the Giro Aeon model? What a big coincidence, I believe I've had the exact same idea and did it for PCMDaily's 2014 DB...

This reaction I didn't expect of you and disappounts me in some way. As all communities well know, there is one rule when using eachothers updates and it says you must add those people in the credits. As long as this is a fact, there is no problem.
So what is your point? We have no problem PCM.daily DB is using the transferts (Krisa), shirts (Cavendish-Fan, Gilardino, Zweers, ...), stages (Ricardo), ... of our database team. Why this helmet of Trek is a problem for you? That is very disappointing, Lluuiiggii. |

When you post your work online it can be used by anyone if you don't want that don't post your work. So one time Daily takes some stuff from other forums and vica versa. We all have the same goal to make PCM 13 better. And You cannot do every thing alone so support each other!!!!! |

Yes, giving credits is good, however you are forgetting that Focus is the one who stopped doing that some time ago... when the project came back in PCM12, it was based in PCMDaily's Expansion Pack, and was rightly mentioned in the credits as so. But then in the 2013 DB, which carried over all the base of Daily's DB and, correct me if I'm wrong, were still taking over Daily's stuff (whole palmares table?, team logos, etc), the only mention to PCMDaily DB in the credits was "PCM.daily", which is a quite different thing than to say "PCM.daily DB", as you well know (or should). And finally, in PCM13, credits to the PCM.daily DB disappeared completely in all 3 threads I've seen created about the database.

That's much true, I agree with you. Just a question: where did I post my work online again? CT needed a helmet of Trek, I created it thinking in that specific DB. I did consider posting it, but other copyright problems in the past (which obviously are recurrent stuff) made me choose not to.

Don't worry, there's still more: in the thread "[Leadershirts] Kyle and CF Leadershirts", in PCM-Portugal, you'll find this Eneco Tour leadershirt by Aussie:

According to Google search, I believe the shirt isn't to be found anywhere else in the internet, at least definitely not on PCMDaily. So two conclusions can be taken from it: 1 - aussie decided to do only the main leader shirt, even if doing the others would be considerably easier - i.e. he is pretty dumb (I really doubt it); or 2 - it was another Focus DB exclusive work.
On top of it all, this is what has "come to public" - I've never really downloaded the DB (even because I prefer to work with what people allow me to, rather than ripoff other's people work), so I wonder if there might not even be more stuff that is "exclusive PCMFocus DB"? While this is just guessing, the above examples are quite certain.

I'm not really worried about that, really; if anything, that makes us even. I don't want to spend more time on this so I'm not entering details, but let's just say that, some times when I occasionally read some threads in PCM Focus (and don't take me wrong, I don't say 'occasionally' because it's a bad forum, much to the contrary - that is really because of my struggle with the Dutch language), specially some comments concerning Daily's DB, it really makes me wish that I just hadn't read that stuff such is the foolishness of the post content, verging the lack of respect and all. A last thing that I'm genuinely curious: when a database like Daily's is released, do you guys check file by file to see if there's anything good that you have missed? That seems like a lengthy job. Or do you already copy the whole stuff?
To conclude, I'll admit that this is the sort of thing that was a main factor in me losing motivation to continue creating DBs and, considering the recent past, some of the reactions to my post on this thread are, to me, quite amusing. Let's look to that on the bright side: at least I'm getting guarantees that there's nothing to regret in my decision
