Ciocan in the top 20. Wonderin if he wins tomorrow if he'll be able to take the lead. |

Nice job by Ford, even though I expected Olman to hit at least the podium. Every point counts for Oz, so maybe he does better in the second TT. But I won't complain, as Ford took the stage and I cannot ask for more.

Decent job by Westra. Goddaert slightly disappointing.

Mathematically it is possible

Although he had no great expectations the truth is that the first stage was disastrous for the team..
Cabreira lost too much time in only 5km, which will be exacerbated with the next tt and will be impossible to recover

Team did well tho, despite dropping Fonte, which is just awful, a second place by Cardoso is strong, and with Polivoda in 6th we have something to build on

Decent stage for us, no time losses for Martinez is all we could really hope for. The teams lead is also nice. |

4th on the stage is good, I'll take it. Now for tomorrow's finish, which hopefully should help Ciocan grab another top 5. |

Too bad the entire team already gotdropped but never expected them to fight for the GC, even though a Top-20 for Besada or someone else would have been nice. Now to save energy for a 1-2 in the next TT!

got to love the boring stages
it was great to see Chavanne putting in such a good Prologue, getting a top 15 when he's still got so much room to develop, and it's even better to see him move into the top 10 on GC, though I doubt it will last very long.

Ouch, poor Westra. I hope this will cause him to attack in stage 5.
Good sprint by Nardin.

I don't think we have the right people to contest this one.
Funny stage the second. Thanks God we didn't loose anybody...

This turned out to be a good stage for our team. Good effort Silvestre doing an excellent stage. Lucky for us we have not lost anyone in falls.
Ps: I think something is not right in the standings, at least in young classification since Silvestre being 3rd overall should be 2nd in the same classification and not appear in the top10.

For some reason the youth standings are showing the stage results instead of the overall results.
Anyway, Kung lost some time but apart from that it was a fairly boring stage for us, Chavanne may have slipped a few places on GC but with the bonus seconds it was to be expected. Hopefully he can now put in a decent TT and hopefully Alizadeh won't lose to much ground either, though I'm not too optimistic about the latter of those.

Boring 2 stages for us. I'm unsure why we didn't even send anyone into the breaks... No sprint results either. I'm just happy Rodas avoided all the crashes so far - which is unlike him because he just seems to love hitting the deck. Craig Lewis is still top 30 and with the TT coming up, he could still do well.
Tough luck for Gazelle with Westra and FroomeDog with Martinez. Martinez looked like he could possibly take this one - but unfortunately things went south.

Unlucky for Gazelle and now for Kenya.
Wasn't a great sprint by Ciocan. Hopefully Silva climbs a few places tomorrow. |

Congrats to AMEX. They did a great job launching Keough!
Again a strong sprint by Nardin. Yesterday 3d, now 2nd...hope he can finish this sequence.

Well that just about sums up our season, starting well and not finishing it off. Very unlucky for Martinez and co.
Hopefully something can still be salvaged here, maybe a stage win even. Otherwise I can see us falling out of the top ten in the rankings. |
