Ehm, yeah I know this could personally affect me big time so I'm probably biased, but did we make a democratic decision that a PT expansion to 22 would definitely mean 6 promotion spots instead of maybe only 3 relegation spots and 5 promotion spots or such?

And I'm not even predicted to reach their current total
at least we have currently got 5th on the Asia tour, I'm not expecting to hold onto it, especially with the all conquering Gazelle breathing down our neck but we should be able to hold onto a top 10 place.

It was never made democratically but the whole season was set up understanding that X number of teams would be relegated and I would oppose any change to things which would see fewer teams relegate.
Then again I also have a stake in things coming out this way so neither of us are unbiased here

Yeah, of course.
I mean I don't want to come across in a bad way, but inactive teams already favour promotion, so it might be fair to split those new spots to not make it too one-sided.

The only reason you are in the ProTour this season is due to one-sided promotion That was as the 7th best promoting team, so theres a precedent of up to 7 promoting teams with no change to the relegation limits, at least.
It is not decided in any form how many teams will be in each division next season. (Although 22 in PT does make a lot of sense) I prefer to promote more than relegate less, as it means more new managers able to play at the next level up. But it may depend - for both PCT and CT - just how far down the standings that might lead.
Likelihood is that only the Top 4 can be confirmed as promoted at the season end, the rest will depend on 2014 format and identity of disbanding teams. So the 'Licensing Committee' may not deliver a final verdict until some time into post-season.

Hehe, well done SN. There are interresting battles all over the tables in both PCT and CT. Should be an thriller ending to this season |

Awesome to see so many close struggles going into the last month! Exciting stuff. Good luck to everyone involved!
September was another great month for us. 130 points doesn't seem like a lot, but they were scored in 6 race days. We have a pretty busy October ahead of us in which we will aim to bust that 3000 point barrier.

This battle for the Asia Tour is going to go down to the wire, and Im very nervous about it! We still aren't fully safe of relegation either and naturally I fear the worst
The battle for the final relegation spot is going to be crazy close I reckon!

Still sitting in top4 but it`s very close.
The relegation zone seems even closer. So we can expect a great final I guess.
Btw.: When counting all my individual rider scores I come to 3465 points while the team score shows only 3378 points.
Which one is the more accurate? |

2099 for Evian by my count. Something up there but I'm sure SN has it under control |

Hmm, good spot. The rider rankings total will be the correct value. Will fix that.

So, totals were correct for 29 teams. But wrong for 23 - and for 21 of those, it was lower than it should have been.
Basically, the rider scores are done automatically. Then for each race I select the scores for all riders in the team, Excel tells me what the sum is, then I put that value into the Team table on another sheet. So there was clearly room for error there - but in fixing the problem, Ive realised a much faster way to do it, so that is quite helpful!
Somehow Metinvest were missing 140 points. The full changes are:

Climbing without racing. I like.
Extended the gap to Prio and Bpost in Milano Torino is good as well.

Gosh this was it down on my part ...
-67 Points makes a huge difference in regards to my objective still open. It will be almost impossible to reach 10th place now.
All that remains is to wait for great results in the remaining races and plan the next season in order not to make the same mistakes I made this.

Still looking good, though it depends on Zabriskie and Roche from now on.
