My issue was that, when I replaced a smaller country for 'Asia', And gave several Asian countries the asia national team(in Dyn_country indeed), I could only choose riders from Japan in the WC, even though I assigned China, Malaysia, Iran etc. As well.
Same would probably go for the U23

I honestly have no idea how it works for WC, the WC only has the same teams every year and number of riders per year (at least in the 2012 game). I know if you still have 2012 installed, and run my BMC DB, you will see the U23 races are in fact run by several multinational teams (or look at a U23 result I posted in my BMC career at some point.)

Good news,
My method worked after all, but it doesn't work in stage-race mode, only in career.
It has to be said that I haven't got to the worlds(simulating), but at 30 January, I could choose Asia and select all of the Asians

Another question...
It's still U23 riders related, so it kinda fits here I guess...
I want some smaller Asian countries to produce riders as well.
Names aren't too important for me, as long as they're somewhat similair.
F.e. I want Qatar to produce riders as well. How to easily give the Iran names to Qatar as well?
Or, can I just replace the PCMdaily regen file with the regen.xml file from the FCD(which has more names for countries like that), or would that give any issues?

Yes, but that would have worse (at least imo) consequences, such as not having national champions for each country, and messing up sponsor regions/races of interest, not to mention the huge work it'd take to do that. Other than that, it should be possible

Open regen.xml in notepad, look for the Iran names, between the brackets with the country code from STA_country (f.e. <GBR> name name name </GBR> for GBR), copy it to the regen you want and save. Make sure to do it both for the last names (first half of the regen file) as well as first names (second half). You shouldn't use regens from one DB with another, that can mess up things (like using different Locals, but with less different stuff - so most things like the names for the main countries will work, but for the smaller ones you might see TODO LASTNAME. Not to mention that by not using Daily's regen you'd miss the much improved names ).
There are also some countries that have names in Daily's regen but aren't activated in STA_region, f.e. Qatar. If I recall correctly, it (Qatar) was deactivated because it's not really realistic (ah and I wouldn't suggest on activating too many regions nor messing up the weight values, otherwise the game will produce like 3000 riders per year, which only makes the save bigger and less stable).

chances are that would cause a few issues because if I remember correctly they use slightly different 3 letter codes for some nations,
you could easily open both in something like notepad and manually copy just the Qatar names over, checking they've got teh right 3 letter code and making sure you remember both the surnames and first names.

How the fuck could you be Zabel'd on that btw, it was 3 hours and still you guys posted within the same minute 
I think I'm just going to activate countries like Qatar and let that be it. And yeah, I know about the weight value, but I think upping about 3 countries(I need for my career, like China) a bit can't hurt, can it?

Zabel is old, he's getting slower each day (more of a coincidence than a Zabel I guess) No, upping a couple of weight numbers shouldn't be a problem.

I think that for my problem is a little easier than for Jesleyh. I want just to introduce Romania and Moldavia in U23 rankings and be able to use a commun national team for them at WC.
But I am lost anyway .

Well, I think we provided enough clues
Go to Dyn_national_team, go to f.e. Austria(one of the minor countries that has a National Team). Replace everything with Austria for Romania.
For the shirt, you could use the abbrivation of a Romanian sponsor, f.e use the abbreviation x-upc(Romanian right?).
Then, go to Sta_country. Search for the country you replaced(Austria=AUT). Remove them from their national team(FKid_nationalteam). Then go to Romania, and add them to that national team. Same for Moldavia. If you want one team with both countries, just add 2 teams to the same national team(like I had some trouble with, but it seems to work in career )

Just one quesion. You said If you want one team with both countries, just add 2 teams to the same national team(like I had some trouble with, but it seems to work in career . Do I need a country with 2 regions for that ?

Nope, you don't.
It doesn't work for stage-race mode it seems(only Romania would be displayed), but it works for careers.
