What is the CDX file in CM_stages?
What does it do and does the game need it? |

It's an equivalent of the .zces and .cds combined. In general, quality is a little lower than the .zces&.cds combined.

Timpiej: It's a way to add fake stages.
Example:
There's no stages files (zces and cds) for the NZ NC. So I add a .cdx (which can be opened/edited with Notepad) where I link to another stage. In the .cdx, I can also add a stage name (e.g. Christchurch), so it looks like the stage is happening in NZ rather than where the stage files are actually from.
It makes sense if you try opening a .cdx with Notepad. |

Ok, so if I understand correctly it is an easy to use tool to for example add a national championship, you only need the CDX-file and link it to another stage?
But with other words: if you have a CDS, ZCES & CDX file with the same name you can delete the CDX file because the game will use the other 2 files?

Ok, so say I were to play a career with my DB, and during a season somebody has released a nice team pack (including jerseys, bikes).
Question 1: it is right that I can just edit the DB (for if I use it in the future) and in the career DB (to help me the same season.
Question 2: When would be a good time to do this? Best in December or maybe better in July (contracts expiring so market is open for that team to get riders in)

A save-.game is basically just a database, so yes, it can be edited and tweaked in the same way as any other database.
Graphics can be added any time you like. When off-season months are recommended, it's usually when it comes to e.g. adding races. |

Thx CT
Here's another one, if I want to transfer my installed copy of PCM from one hdd to another one, what do I do?
Cut/paste the game to the program files folder, make a new shortcut for it and then finished?
Or will the game still look for files on the other hdd? |

You cannot copy this or any other game, which is DRM protected.
What is wrong with installing the game?
BTW, this is totally off-topic. |

I know it is, and I apologize for that but I was thinking to better do it here then to yet start another thread. The problem is that I want to copy all the stuff I have on disk one to disk 2 but it has only 8 GB free space. I need 14 GB.
Thanks for the help. |

It is not possible to install the game across two drives or disks, if that is what you want to do.
But if the two drives are on the same hard disk, you can resize the partitions.
Another solution is to clean up the disk before installing the game. And if that is not enough, you can move personal files to another drive and/or uninstall certain programs and install them on another drive or disk.

Yeh, I think I'll just re-install the game on the other hard disk |

Where could be the mistake in the tables if you open your DB with the DB editor from cyanide and it stops at STA_equipment row 600 ? I've checked the line but there nothing special about it.
Edit: found it, I messed up in fkIDequipment_unlock on that row

Where can you find the correct names that are needed for the flags? I can't find where to the collumn gene_tgaID_flag in STA_country is linked. |

It's linked to STA_TGA in the Local.cdb.

Is it correct that (I've read this somewhere but wasn't in English) that whatever your jerseycolor is, if you put 5c0632 in gene_sz_color (in DYN_team) the equipment will have the color of the jersey? Just want a verification here. |

No, definitely not How would the game even define what is 'the' color of the jersey? For example in this one, would it take light blue, dark blue, white, red or even the brown in the background?

I know right, that's why I wanted to ask if it was true.
Can you help me on another matter? I have about 19 frames/wheels/helmets per marques and I can choose this equipment no problem. The problem is that their names have disappeared (so I don't know which one I pick).
Is this because there are too much? Because in all the other marques I can see the names. If it is because there's too much, can you tell me how much I can have in one to be able to read the names? |
