For PCM12 the guys from pcmspain did a great work with the db, adding a big number of south american, african and asian teams, and also at least 4 or 5 races from each zone.
For the american ones, they completed their calendar with north american races, very interesting and fun carrers I've played there...
I don't know how many teams there are, but I've noticed there are a lot, also europeans very small are there, something like this would be great completed with your graphic wor, something missing in that db... just saying..

Well, a giant DB has some drawbacks though(f.e terrible game speed )
Also, the PCMdaily DB team is just not big enough for that, I think.

@kadtagenero: indeed there are several races from USA and UK. That's mainly because the DB is from an English-speaking site, so its main focus are Western Europe and the Anglo countries. About adding 2~3 teams and 2~3 races: as I said, I don't find that realistic
To take the example from your post: San Luis would still have only 2~3 races in the DB that they rode irl; EPM would have 1~2; and Funvic, 2~3.
With these 3 teams, f.e., the 2~3 South American races wouldn't be the most realistic ones either: Vuelta a Colombia would have 4/18 teams in the DB, Vuelta a Bolivia, 1/14; Vuelta al Tachira, 1/16; Copa América, 2/17; Volta de São Paulo, 2/23; Tour do Rio, 5/18.
About the Spain DB, iirc they had just over 100 teams (?), so that would also be few teams from each region and, as you say, few races. 5 races having starting fields with 5 teams from that region and 15 from the rest of the world (unrealistically riding there) isn't realistic to me
That said, no one is forbidden to make an extension to the Expansion Pack, which includes enough teams and races from a certain region to make it realistic enough... who knows if that might not happen

Hi,
when Crue True will be released new PCM Daily for PCM 13 ?
Hopefully, not as much as that Wink Either way, Cyanide has managed to add another major bug in the last patch (WT teams only take part in WT races from April-September, or something like that), so we first have to wait for Cya to fix things in order to play a proper career.
So, does this mean that, until a patch is released by Cya that fixes this major, major career killing bug, PCM Daily will not release anything?
Understandable but a bit unfortunate...... |

I think it's possibly to copy info from one to another .cdb as well, so they might release one before and 1 after the patch, but I don't know that.
But playing a career is a lot less fun like this anyway.

In part, yes, since each new patch needs a new .cdb and Local.cdb to make sure it's 100% compatible. And releasing several downloads makes it easier to confuse new users. But besides that, the DB is still being worked on; if Cyanide would release this possible patch today f.e. it would still take some days for the Expansion Pack to be released.

Are the makers of the pcmdailyDB waiting for something that might not come out?

Well i agree with you but if they had tried the last patch they would have suddenly see that bug. This means they haven't tested it, i don't like this, because you should make at least one test to see how it is the game. In case they had tested it why have they published a patch with more bugs than the previous one? Imo this thing was avoidable. |

100% right? At the moment nothing is working correctly in the managment part.
Scouts = total fail since years. Equipment = total fail since years. Sponsor goals + happyness = new fails every year. Sponsor offers = new fail. Rider objectives = new but a total fail. Finances = somewhat failed. E-mails = totally useless. |
