Really hard finish compared to what I thought we were getting.
On a side note strong ride for Farrar in my mind on this type of course. Reminds me of his 2nd on that Vuelta stage a few years ago to Gilbert. He was only pipped for 2nd and held it.

In fact it wasn't. In the sprint in the end you can see three BMC-riders. One is Gilbert, the other is the rider who led him out, who peddles softly to the finish when his job is done, and further in the bunch sprint you can see an other BMC-rider who sprints himself into the top 10.
When you see the result you see that Phinney is 8th, so he couldn't be the one leading out Gilbert. Gilbert's lead-out was most likely Oss (33th) as the commentator said.
And who the fuck is Kump? Never heard of him before today.

Kump. Im guessing Marko Kump. I think thats his first name. Only heard of him in PCM when i did a geox career. I believe he is a young but not very good sprinter.
