Oh, Burlutsky my man!
It will be much much tougher the next two stages, and I'm pretty sure we're gonna see gaps tomorrow. Hopefully, Burlutsky can hang on the peloton, or even better, go in another break
Great report! |

Nardin was strong again. Before the sprint started he was positioned very well, but then he let them press him back. So during the sprint he was nowhere to be seen and I expected him to finish around 10th. But then in the last screenshot he suddenly pops up in third!
Now my team faces a dilemma. What to do in stage 4?! Nardin has a nice 40 second lead on most puncheurs that he and the team can probably defend in the hills. But there is a big chance that he (62 CL) will lose more than 40 seconds on that 6km of mountain TT.
So it's probably smarter to bet on Weening (74 CL) and let him try to gain time on the climbers in the hills. That might ruin Nardin's GC though.
Curious to see what they'll do.

Now time for Martinez to carry his form into the tougher stages. Hopefully he can hold on tomorrow before a great MTT. |

And... another GC win for Gazelle. |

The team are really continuing their good form, I think I never have had 3 riders in top 10 before! Burlutsky, Wang and Tamayo Martinez will not be the best in tomorrows stage, but nonetheless they should finish quite high in the end. I've got more than I could dream of here!
Very good report with a lot of action roturn! |

Weening! Great to see him attack and win solo. He seems to be a better tour rider than one day rider. 1'13 to Nieve and 2'21 to Martinez should be enough on such a short mountain TT.
Also smart of Nardin to attack as well. This 5th place gives him a big Points lead and a chance of a decent GC.
Great stage for Gazelle! Bring on that mountain.
And indeed nice reporting roturn, thx.

Gazelle doing it the proven Het Nieuwsblad way from last year. I approve
Great to see though, one Belgian team might be going to PT, but almost surely one will be going to PCT too.

To troll us even more, PCM decided to have a selective hilly stage.
Atleast we didn't crash. And some small hopes for a top 10 by Chacon

Got to cheer on Gazelle for signing a Mongolian. Great race for them and Armavia so far |

Let's hope we can maintain the second spot in the GC. The first is quite far away. Impossible to cut more than one minute, Weening still climbs quite well and the stage doesn't seem hard nor long enough.

I thought Gazelle were Dutch?
Nice couple of stages there, Torckler putting himself in the shop window nicely, with a good GC by the looks.

No question there will be some offers for Torckler, David, Murray in the offseason.
Somehow he and Cadbury`s in general are doing very well when I report the races. |

Just when I think I will benefit from the terrible AI, there is a selective stage. Another bad race
All is not lost though, our top 5 goal is still achievable with some luck. Hoping for a stage win tomorrow.
Edit: Just saw we got a top 5. Thank god. Hopefully we can hold on.

We're Dutch and Belgian. Might add Luxembourg next year and become a Low Countries (Benelux) squad.
Torckler should indeed be a popular free agent in the coming transfer window.

Good TT too short for us ;(
Nieve 2nd and Gonzalo on the 5th. Nice result for both.
Let's see we can hold the 2nd tomorrow.

Good TT by Weening, losing only 15 seconds and making the podium.
And Nardin also limited the damage, remaining in 6th place overall.
Now it's our job to defend Weening's GC and Nardin's Points jersey. Luckily it's on our favorite terrain.

Happy that MTN won. Weening guarantees the GC, and Martinez proves he's one of the best of the CT. |

Tamayo.... why didn't you follow Ngue?
Oh well. 3 among the top 12 were better than predicted anyway. Good race for us, and congrats to MTN with a great stage win, clever attack, not so clever by us
Absolutely great reports, thanks! |

I've been very lethargic regarding MG in the last 2 weeks as I'm busy with exams. But a quick glimpse reveals another stunning ride by Ngue! This is the 2nd time he places overall in a GC and the 4th time an MTN rider finishes 2nd in a GC. He's probably been the most valuable rider for us this season. A really good signing
We just couldn't beat Gazelle

Awesome Giro del Capo for us! Great riding by Weening, Nardin and the support team.
Shame Nardin had a bad last stage, dropping him 4 places in the GC and losing the Points jersey. But thanks to Minnard's second place we did win the Team Classification, which I prefer over Points. Also very strong stage win by Ngue btw, congrats Aidan.
And thanks to roturn for the reports.
