Top 10 at this point in rankings has been exceptional. Just keep on going and we'll have risk free last months of the game, just enjoying it at the end Still, lots can happen.

If only the current position was the projected position...
Considering that Quetzaltenango is my only race (apart from the Giro) in May, I sense a plummet down the ranking coming up. As long as we avoid relegation, I'll be happy.
Quite embarassing how obvious it is that I'm falling down the same pit once again, by relying way too much on one rider. I'll be meticulous in the next renewals and transfers periods to avoid screwing up again.
In a way, I almost wish I hadn't been accepted into the game already last season. The extremely poorly planned first season is still hurting my team, after all. I could probably have done a better job if I had joined this season instead. On the other hand, I've always loved being involved.

I don't know why i look at Boeing's rankings... Its just depressing... We havn't had a really good race all season. Fortunately we still have most of our stage races to come so with some luck (ha, luck...) we can mount a charge to our goal of Top3...

I've pretty much resigned myself to 5th place at this point. Either ING or Bouygues are likely to take it at this point. I had not counted on Rothaus doing this well at this point but I think they are most likely going up.
Oh well time to start planning for next year.
Edit: but if there is any month that can save it for me it is May.

Aint looking that bad, even though there's still so much to lose this year.
I hope to survive this battle. Rogers won't score as high as he should (thanks to me), but he will at least score some points wherever he starts. Tour of America could be the key - either in a positive or negative way.
Glad to see us 4th in Asia. That's our only realistic sponsor goal left

I don't see us escaping. It's going to take Napolitano winning a lot of races and some lucky breaks. |

I am surprised how the season is panning out, though perhaps I shouldn't be. Rothaus and Tinkoff are showing that all round strength and strong season planning is key. Something that experience and being in the game for a couple of years are key Pre-requisites for.
I think Hollister are on the slide until the tour of America and even in that I don't see a repeat of last year. Still they also have a strong squad. ING, SRAM, Bpost, Bouygues and further down Vespa, Vueling, VolksWagen and Bintang could still be in the promotion hunt. Some teams need to go on a big run though or at least a big HC race performance.
A couple of teams are having really surprisingly good seasons. Metinvest, p Lasko, Amex and HTC all were stars of the CDiv2 league and it is pleasing to see them flourish, UPC are also quietly going pretty well. On the flip side Armavia, Repsol, Lukoil and slightly surprisingly Evian look increasingly like basement boys. Still barring Armavia they have decent enough leaders it just depends who they rock up against in the coming months. It'll be interesting to see if one or two of the, can pick off some of the long time PCT strugglers like Swedbank, WWE, Oz cycling, CSC or Meiji. Oz and Meiji have improved this year though not by much at the moment!
There is a fairly wide discrepancy between the race days of some of the CT teams, but the all round strength of Iberia and Gazelle continues to play out well for them. Allianz were strong in the classics, it will be a case of consolidating their promotion hopes. Cadburys have not got a look in, still I am hoping to try and pick off a couple of teams before seasons end - though I doubt it
Thanks for the comprehensive update SN

The Bobridge loan deal might become your problem this season. He probably would have been your best point scorer as Rogers is just good for the time trials and most likely won`t sore a lot in America I fear.
In worst case you have Bobridge on a good contract I guess to rebuild around him. |

You know Southland has those two hilly finishes?
But I agree, they were already a gamble with PCM11, where it played out better than I had thought. With PCM12 I am not sure if there will be any gaps, so you can be lucky.
My favourite race btw. so shm that I couldn`t find space for it. |

Looking at that I am not so pleased, especially PPRD. A bad May could see us fall loads while a good one could propel us up. Quite a few race days before a hectic June. |

When you only have one race in a month and you do bad in that month this is what happens. Anyway we didn't slide down that far and are still in a very good position.
Our monthly schedule's are a lot bigger from now of on so I expect our team to hit the top of the standings soon

Rogers won't race the Tour of America, i was just speaking of our key-race in general
Of course Bob is missing, but i do think we can avoid relegation without him. Too bad i underestimated the mountain-gameplay, so Rogers may struggle like he he did in Vancouver.
Bobo will be a nice leader next year, indeed with a good contract. So it's even more important to stay in PCT and not wasting our days in CT

Expected to slide, after only 3 races - and top 5s in two of them stopped us from plummeting. May will be crucial, though.
No longer confident of finishing ahead of the likes of Oz, Meiji and Amex, which puts us into a bit of a relegation panic - though the gap between 5 teams above relegation zone is quite small, so anything could happen.
Evian neep Napo to deliver, no doubt - which if he does, may negate our success next month, as we're relying on sprinters for about 4 races.
Quite surprised to see Swedbank so low, if I'm honest, whilst Prio Porto are undoubtedly the most improved team from last season.

I just noticed that I have 7 riders int he top 100 of the rankings. I'm really happy with that. I went into the season not wanting to lean on just one rider and it seems like I've done that. Hopefully that scoring depth will start to pay off down the track, particularly if Gautier can start to get onto the podium.

Me too, had higher hopes for this season.
Don´t know if it´s much bad luck or just bad planning...
Anyway hope the 2nd half of the season goes better... |

What started out to be a good month, ended in the worst way possible. Still not worried about my rating because the promotion was never a goal, and not even ever considered myself a candidate for anything. The objective of the top 10 is still possible, which makes me hope is that by the end of the season only participate in more 4 C1races that have been my Achilles heel. So from now on things can only get better
