Cool. We are getting close now. And up to Xmas SN - How could you! The transferseason will be carnage with some people away a vast majority of the weekends in december, so a lot of people will be pissed at last second overbids I think.
But it will be fun, and chaotic as always. Team Festina are ready!

A Christmas transfer season would be great for me. I got a month break from school then. Will be able to watch bids all day long

Agree with Mre Dont have much family nearby to visit, except on Christmas day, etc. If its any later than that, I have exams, and can also easily take a few minutes every hour of my studying to up my bids.
Although for Rider Renewals, if they are commencing shortly, I am quite busy. Have lots of school and hockey.

Renewals don't take much time. 5 mins here, 5 there.

From now till February I'm drowned in heavy academic duties, with only a meagre week of holidays for Christmas, but I'll be happy to fail my finals if that guarantees me a perfect transfer season

I'm still waiting for the first rider to show up at my office but it's already fun to follow other manager's progress

I seriously hope transfers are not around 20-30 december (my family expect more from me than sitting at the PC)
But everyone has it different, so any time will be good for one and bad for other.

Any time is a good time. Seeing as we have 48 hours between the final bid and the finalization of the transfer, plus mechanisms for managers who have outside obligations, I see no excuse.

Yeah, you should be able to check your bids once every 2 days for 5 minutes
Or get a phone

I have to hope that I will do better then I felt after the last seasons renewals with being a bit generous with the money. I just hope I can hold everybody together but now I have to be a bit more aggressive otherwise there are other riders in the Free Agents I guess.

As long as the transfers start after the 15th of december, so I'm back in Spain, it's fine for me. I guess my family would like to see me not in front of the computer all the time, but ManGame > family, clearly.

My pacing plan for Renewals went out the window yesterday, thus I return home to 17 new messages
I do have a plan for when transfers will be. If theres a time during December when you will have absolutely no access to PCMdaily for longer than a day, please let me know via PM.

Even though the hints are "vague", if it says "at most 20k away", is that a defined and 100% applicable border, or does "vague" refer to every part of the hints?

They may be vague, but they don't lie

Potentially no more than 10k implies a minimum of 10k increase needed...? |

I doubt that. Could be €500, I guess.

I find the categories quite odd, as they don't really makes no sense to me...
0-20K is Close
20K-80K is Average
80K-180K is Way off
180K+ is Serious increase needed
Or so I thought. I have had some "Way offs" that are within the "Average" amount for sure, as there isn't even 80K from my initial offer to his new requirements. So I guess they are just estimates.

Random numbers are involved in setting the exact boundaries for each rider

Yeah, kinda figured that out. Although I seriously hope that:
Average Could mean up to as far away as 80k, but could also mean much closer than that
Actually means that if I raise my offer by 80K then I'm sure to get the rider. Otherwise I would have played my cards very differently in the process.

I think it's ok like it is, I mean it shouldn't be too easy to renew the contracts..
