I put the jersey in a folder in 3d/cyclists/cloth/team and filled in the abbreviation at teams |

Still not sure what you mean, sorry. In order to use the shirt in the game, you could save it as a 32-bit .tga (filesize should be ~556 KB), place it in 3D/Cyclists/Cloth/team/c00 and then, when creating a custom team in the game, use the first shirt that appears when you need to choose one. If you've already created the team, or created it through the DB, then you should place it in a different folder, corresponding to the gene_sz_abbreviation from the team's main sponsor in DYN_sponsor.

If you get a white and red Cyanide shirt, the game can't find your shirt file. So either it's named wrong, or placed wrong, or linked wrong in the DB (placed wrong).

All the shapes and logos are quite pixelated...
Plus the logos on the pockets will be hidden by the race numbers...
And lastly the shape on the shorts is not symmetric. try doing half of it and the copy and paste it and rotate it vertically...
But your first jerseys sure look promising for a good future...

@Miggi: Yeah, i dont know why they pixelate... It happens to Jakstar as well :/
About the pockets, yeah i know, but its a replica jersey (sorta) and the logo's are there on the real one, so i just put them there. The shape on the shorts isn't supposed to be symmetrical, its supposed to be the same shape as the leaf or whatever it is on the chest, but i can't get the brush to a small enough pixel size to make it look like that... |

I already told jeckstar a while back that paint.net is not the optimal solution. Inmy opinion its a bit to limited in its options. Others might disagree with that but my opinion stands.
There is a freeware program available called GIMP, which has a most functions photoshop has with the advantage that it is an opensource project (=Free). I just ind it handier and I have yet to get problems with it. I did also use Paint.Net for another game (madden08) and I had huge problems with that, as I got pixelated after rendering or it would not get the background colour tone right etc... In the end its a thing of preference.
As for the logos: Always try a Wikipedia search first, as the .png files ususally dont have a background, so you only have to rescale them and recolour them. PS: Im well aware that you didnt really have an option so far with the jerseys you had to make.

Oh ok Miggi, I'll have a look at GIMP. I think the pixelation may be the logo size though... Because I use the biggest I can find and so when you make it smaller it becomes worse quality (like the reverse if you have a small one and make it big). |

You want the logos as big as possible though. I use logos that have sizes of 1000 px plus and when i resize them in gimp, i dont have any problems with them being pixelated... Have a look at the GLI shirt in my thread for example. The GLI Logo itself had a size of 800 height and I scaled it to 70-80 px in height (cant remember) but I have no pixelation!

I sometimes use 2000px logo's, resized to 40px using Paint.NET, never had any pixelation
Pinktay, you should resize a logo using 'Image > Resize', because I guess you are doing it some other way.
