Well, logically the better the team the more invites you'll likely get. But the races also prefer teams from the same country as the races, or teams that have good riders from the same country as the races, from what I've seen. I don't think that not having good TTers would cause the organizers to refuse your invitation.

That would make sense. I'll have to try with an international+ rep italian in the squad and see if that makes a difference.
And yeah, I doubted it would be there mechanically but I could see the logic. If your team is diabolical at TT, they might not take you since day one is a TTT and it would really suck to have a whole team drop on day one XD |

i don't think it's possible for riders to abandon during a time trialalthough they still wouldn't want a team that is the worst on gc by 10-15 mins after the first day. |

Yeah but they still have to make the cutoff time. |

I doubt there is one in TTTs. Try sending one rider to the TTT, he should make it to stage 2.

There's no cutoff in the ITT (in PCM), so I hardly think there would be one in a TTT.

It'll work. But it'll take quite some time, especially because of the stops in simulation ( 'important' news) which stops the simulation.

The fastes way to go forward in the career is to simulate up to the first race, then skip the day but not the race (ignore steps 4+5 in the linked tut). From now on, all races will be skipped (instead of being simulated). If you want to play a certain race, obviously you would need to fix the skipping before that race is due. |
