Hi Lachis,
I am finally done with planning my season and the only thing left is to export the CDB and play through. Only there is an problem. If I export the CDB it just do not show up in PCM. And if I overwrite it then I get the error: 'Specified cast is not valid'.

Is that the directory you're saving it? If yes, that's wrong. That's the directory of weekly saves, you should place your save in My Docs/PCM12/Users/username/Database/Solo/DB you're playing with.

Your question is totally unrelated to my planner which this thread is about
but yes, version 10 of my editor is compatible with PCM 2012.
I totally overlooked the word "planner", yes.

@Maldini:
You are supposed to edit the save not the backup.
But since you already edited your backup, just export it into the save game folder.
My documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2012\Users\Your name\Database\Solo\name of DB\
Which version of my tool do you use?
If you don't have the latest version, then download it.
Install the new version as follows:
Close the season planner (save your changes)
Extract the new version into the same folder replacing the existing files.
Strart the season planner
Select "Open plan" to load your planning
Then select "Export cdb"

The order of the teams in the in startlist is, as I can see, no longer ordered by the favorites for the race, but ordered by the team, who has the rider with the highest stat, even though he's not a favourite. Hope it's not too complex explained
Highest stat = favorite? (excluding form etc) Not sure what you mean there
I Just meant that a sprinter or a classics rider now can be listet as a team captain, even though it's the Giro. But you're right, Lachi. It hasn't a thing to do with your planner.
And thanks for the great tool by the way! |

I am pretty sure that only my tool stopped working and not that your computer crashed.
Did you read the "ReadMe" file. Did you install it properly? Do you have Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 (or higher) installed? When does it crash? Does it always crash? |

Sorry, Yes it was just your program that stopped responding. I have .Net installed. I'm running Win7/64. And yes it crashes every time. I have a i7 processor and 8Gb Ram.
I have had this before with your previous planner. I could never get it to work, nor your editor. On PCM11 I used the fast editor which worked great. It's a shame because I'd love to use your one since fast editor does not support pcm12. |

I have a small problem, as u can see in the image, all the fitness Schedules, is listed with numbers and not the names of the riders...
So it can be hard to find the right fitness Schedules for the rider

Could you please explain why you should "find the right fitness schedules for a rider"?
The schedules are in your carrer exactly as you have defined them in my planner.

If that does not help, then I am out of ideas since it is definitively a problem with your computer. |

Well maybe i wasent cleare enough....
That fitness Schedules as Barredo have in the image, was automaticly given to him, by the game or with help from your planner... (i dont know) but all my riders have automaticly been given the costum fitness Schedules i made in your planner.... The problem is that the few i looked at either have errors in the fitness Schedules ( as seen in the image ) or was not given the right fitness Schedules to the right riders.
In earlier versions of your planner the fitness Schedules was saved with the name of the rider in PCM, so i was just thinking that something was wrone here...

So you defined the fitness schedules for each rider in the planner based on the assigned races? And then created the DB? But when you load it, it does not show up correctly in the game? |

The numbers are a bit weird. Don`t know if it`s a DB or cyanide problem.
Solution: Just go to custom_1 plan or so, click on the loupe on the right and choose "advanced" or so and there you can load you own plan. This one should be called just like the name then. A.Schleck for example.
Then for some reason the plan is still named custom_1 when scrolling, but just take custom_2 for the next rider and so on.
Ignore the number plans. |
