And I have a feeling this will be the final big patch, if there are any major bugs, they may get fixed but nothing huge, like this patch.

Well, in the variants statement Eyolfur said there'll be at least a "2nd part of July patch". They still have the steam problem mentioned here and, mainly I'd say, the variants problem (stages in Mod/Stages do not work) after all Wink

- A problem with Steam&Windows XP at the start of a race is known and will hopefully be fixed if the problem is found

Hopefully the problem is found and fixed. I can only play paris-roubaix and thats starting to get boring :lol:

I find AI great in PCM12, though, I've only tried a few mountain stages. Attacking actually works now, as the attackers actually ride away from riders just pacing themselves. The outsiders for a stage win are a lot more aggressive, attacking on the penultimate climb, or earlier, or just trying something on the final climb. It's not like all of them stand no chance at all, like it was in PCM11, were they maybe attacked once on the final mountain, only to be chased back, and quickly dropped.

I enjoy AI on PCM12 in mountain stages, it's fun to play with, and a lot less predictable than PCM11.

The thing is that all of those features should have been in the game at the start.

Sounds good to me!!! Smile I hope the renew sponsors contract thing will work properly, as I am really looking forward to this!

By the way I thought it was a "bug" that the time and camera panel slide back on their own, as this hasn't been like that in the other games, but its meant to be like that, right? I think its quite annoying, because it takes you longer to change the game speedSad

You can use the + and - shortcuts to change speed.

Normally they release patches until they go into summer holidays so this really could be the final patch.

Sorry, I do not share the general optimism....
- Staff: sort by specialization not working (still)
- Calendar: sort racec in calendar by country or class not working (was in pcm11, really dont now why this bothered them)
- Sponsor objectives completely nonsense (hope they fix it)
- Custom career starts in continental no matter which riders you have (was in pcm11)
- training camps - pictures dissapears (very minor but this was nice)
- news panel - idiotic arrangement (much better in pcm11)
- hotkays changed (getting used to but I completely do not understand why they changed)
- race GUI - cant move windows (was in pcm11)
- race GUI - in pcm11 when i pressed shortcut assigned to a particular rider i can change effort on the bar under rider list: "1" - mouse wheel - "2" - mouse wheel - "3" - mouse wheel etc. Now the bar under rider's panel disapeared so i have to aiming the bar next to a rider panel time after time. Why they remove this bar??
- Race profile looks good at the briefieng but beacause i cannot zoom it during the race its completely useless. And this is a crucial!! Especially in cobbled races when i have to now exactly when cobbles starts. WHY we can not zoom race profile?!
- Referring to the above - where is information about hills? After clicking space bar in pcm11 there was brief where and what the elevations are - disapear in pcm12, WHY?
- Also disapear information about time bonuses (space-bar-race-info), there are only points information (its totaly stupid, i dont even try understand this)
- rider which protects another rides where he want, if my leader drops to A1, his bodyguard stays in P and his shield change to dot, or when peloton strongly increase the pace security guard ceases to protect the leader and starts to race - was in pcm11 and still not fixed (really annoying)

I really dont now why Cyanide did not repair the bugs that have been spoiled for a long time, but in addition they broke what worked fine in pcm11. Im pretty sure one thing: Cyanide people dont play their game beacause all this things kicks in the head after 5 mins of play.

tellico, you bring up some very interesting points indeed. Some of those things will be fixed by the patch (like zooming profile). Maybe you could try posting these things in the Official Forum and see if there's any answer Smile

Mise à jour n°4
Voilà les principaux changements et nouveautés:

>> Armada
- Mode équipes officielles en Amical. Comme prévu il sera désormais possible de jouer des courses amicales avec les équipes réelles. Par contre pour les bases de données personnalisées dans Armada, nous avons préféré le reporter à la mise à jour suivante afin d’effectuer des tests supplémentaires.
- Plus vite ! Les courses (sauf les CLM) pourront être accélérée (x2 / x4) après un vote majoritaire. Une fois que le dernier coureur aura franchi la ligne la course se terminera dans la foulée, vous faisant gagner un temps précieux pour jouer.
- Il y aura désormais la possibilité de jouer les courses en contre-la-montre. Les équipes IA ne seront pas dans la course pour ces épreuves, afin d’éviter de trop long temps d’attente. En revanche ça demandera une certaine dextérité pour ceux qui ont plusieurs bons coureurs de contre-la-montre
- Mise à jour de la formule des pts (prise en compte du classement Equipe et correction d'un bug d'affichage)
- Au niveau des Coins nous allons dans un premier temps supprimer l’ancienne grille de prix qui consistait à donner un fixe en fonction de la distance de l’épreuve parcourue accompagné d’une prime variable en fonction de la place de l’équipe pour donner une somme équivalente à tous les joueurs de la partie basée sur le temps passé dans la course par les joueurs.
- Corrections sur le tchat
- Ajout du nombre de connectés ainsi qu'un petit icône pour signifier qu'un joueur est dans une partie
Pour plus d’infos à ce sujet, nous allons revenir en détail sur ces points dans un futur message ainsi que sur ce qu’on planifie dans les prochaines semaines.

>> Carrière
- Ajoute la possibilité de renouveler ses sponsors
- Correction des problèmes sur les courses espoirs
- Correctif d’un bug qui pouvait empêcher dans certains rares cas de passer les championnats du monde
- corrections des problèmes liés aux courses espoirs et du renouvellement des sponsors.

>> 3D
- Ajoute dans les « Isolated Buildings » de la Chapelle de Grammont

>> Interface
- Ajoute la possibilité de zoomer sur le profil pendant la course.
- Ajout de couleurs sur le profil (sur certains menus, notamment le profil zoomé) pour distinguer les différences de pentes
- Corrections sur la page Simulation Détaillée

>> Autres
- Corrige un rare problème « erreur de traitement côté serveur » qui pouvait forcer à se recréer un profil à chaque reconnexion dans Armada.

Sans rentrer trop dans les détails pour le moment voilà les grandes lignes de la suite (non exhaustif) :

>> Contenu additionnel
- Nous préparons un premier pack de + de 100 étapes pour jouer des variantes de course (aussi bien en course normale qu’en mode carrière). Au menu, 1 variante pour chaque grand tour ainsi que d’autres courses par étapes majeures et des parcours supplémentaires pour les championnats du monde. Ce pack officiel sera disponible gratuitement et sera facultatif.

>> Armada
- Collections avec récompenses au fur et à mesure de l’avancement de celle-ci.
- Possibilité de supprimer des cartes (pour « liquider » des doubles par exemple) contre des Coins.
- Nouveau contenu au niveau de la gestion de l'équipe (contrats coureurs et réparations matériel).
- Affichage de la fiabilité des joueurs (ceux qui quittent / ne quittent pas les parties) et prise en compte des joueurs non fiables pour qu'ils ne soient plus choisis comme "host".
- Autres modifications dans les formules de points & Coins à la fin d’une partie

>> Autres
- Listes de départs (Startlists)
- Nous sommes également au courant d’un problème de compatibilité entre la version Steam et Windows XP (crash au début de la barre de chargement d’une course 3D) et nous cherchons une solution à ce problème.
