I asked if it's named correctly. If you're seeing Plouay - Plouay, the game cannot find the stages, so either you haven't placed them in the CM_stages folder or the names are not matching (DB/file names).

Column "ID" in STA_race.

I tried to create a race but when i need to select the name of the race in the sta_stage doesn't appear. There are all the other races but mine isn't there. |

You're not supposed to select the name of a race, you're supposed to add the ID of your race. If you're using an editor that uses lists, disable the lists and manually put the ID of your race in fkIDrace.

What would be the easy way to go when wanting to activate/choose a specific variant after the calendar year switches ? (before you´d just rename the files to represent the year you want) |

I don't know if it'll work, but try changing the suffix in 'gene_sz_current_variant' in STA_race.

Thanks, that and changing it in the stages section did the trick.
How do you install a new U23 race ? I´d like to make the route of the Tour de Suisse a new U23 race (or replace one of the other if easier) to have another good race to judge the U23 riders on.
any advice ? |

What do you mean 'changing it in the stages section'? Changing the 'gene_sz_variant' in STA_stage? And only, or did you do something more?
As to adding a new U23 race, it's the same as adding a normal race, just that the race category (fkIDUCI_class) will be 31 or 32, for classics (31) or stage races (32).

yes, just like that. Worked like a charm, allready past the Race with no problems
About the U23 race : I´ve been looking around and it´s propably too much work for me right now (adding in the stages especially), but thanks anyway. Will propably just create new fantasy variants for the existint races. |

You're not going to "find" anything. You're going to fill the stage ID; in this case, 1516.

You should type the number, not scroll down.. if you're using the Fast Editor, disable lists.

Correct me if I'm wrong, to get a tour as a variant into the career I just have to rename for example my 2000 Stages to "top_tdf_Stagenumber_v#". The Number behind the "_v" definite the chronology of all tour variants!?

if you want the variant to show up in a certain year then you put that year as the suffix i.e. instead of _v# if you don't have a variant for a certain year then the game will take a random variant which could be any of the ones you've got except the one from last year so you'll never get the same race 2 years in a row unless it randomly picks the varient that corrosponds to the following year. |

thank you for the quick answer. But the suffix has to contain a "v" at the beginning if I don't named it as a specific future year?! Or does the game just choose all "top_tdf" variants? |

only if you want it as a specific year
the game chooses randomly from the variants that were not used in the current year
you can even have a v1 and a v1a and it will still work!
