The Fast editor is not using XML apparently.
But it is said that the Fast editor is not compatible with PCM 2012 and therefore destroys the race calendar. So beware.
Edit: OK, I had a quick look into it and I have three questions.
Do you delete the mails in the game or not?
Should I attach the modified save which can be opened in the editors?
Which DB exactly did you use? Link?

The problem was in one of the mails, so if you delete them all, it should be fixed. If you don't want to do that, search the mail about the pre-season camp and delete that.
But many of the letters in your save are messed up. For example Novoa Méndez is now Novoa Méndez. I don't know what might have caused this, but it could be from another editor. My editor does not do this to the letters.

What is deciding which specilization each rider is getting? With this I mean, what decides what the limit of each attribute will be of a younger rider, that is not developed yet?
Contador has a high limit in montain, recup etc. because he is a stage racer, and Cavendish has a high limit i sprint, because he is a sprinter. But what decides this in the beginning of a riders career, when all the stats are still very low, and can it be altered in the editor? |

Furthermore all your questions have been answered hundreds of times. Consider using the forum search.
Maximum Potential: 8 (By sorting the column you would have seen it)
Young riders: This is too complicated to explain here. There is a folder called YoungRiderCarac. The rules are in these files.

Yes it is from PCM Fast Editor I think, I had the same things with this editor sometimes.

Hello,
I got problems exporting a plan with the season planner tool. Every time I try to export a plan it says:
"An error occured.
Die angegebene Umwandlung ist ungültig"
Is there any special rule, how the save-names should look or is there anything else, i did wrong.
Thanks for help in advance. Hope, i'm in the right thread.

Obviously you are german, so why don't you contact me in the german forum.
This problem has nothing to do with the save name. It is an error in the database. What exactly did you change. Are you sure that you filled out all the columns? |

Did you save your edits? Did you overwrite the old file? If not, are you sure it's placed in the correct directory (My Docs/PCM12/users/username/Database/Solo/DB you're playing with).

The editor automatically suggests the same folder as the original file. Are you sure that you edited the save or did you edit one of the backups in the weeklysave folder? It is not a big problem except that you will have to redo up to a week of gameplay if you edited the backup file. |
