Why do you think that? You can create those countries in PCM, it's just that they haven't so far. Remember that this DB is still work in process.

Oh no. I do not mean you cannot create your own teams labelled like above. Those just cannot be chosen from the list of pre-defined nationalities. Try to attribute the "SOV" nationality to any rider! |

Uhm, I'm not sure I understand you mean. But you can make any rider to be Soviet in PCM, you just need to go to sta_country and create the Soviet Union.

Yeah, the official editor is crap. There are many editors available here (Lachi's, Full Editor) that can do it.

Because "SOV" does not exist anymore? Why would they add non-existing countries? 
As kumazan says, official editor is crap, you can't edit the whole DB with it  (and if you do decide to create the country, besides adding in STA_country you need to add a region in STA_region - I'm sure with the search you can find more info).

Just a question.
- Rolf Sorensen (DEN), 59 i mountain? I think that is just a little underrated? I know he wasn't some of the best, but 59. He obtained to sit with the 10-15 best climbers several times in the tour. SÃ¥ I would say about 66-70.

This is the biggest question of 1991 db's. In 1991 there was USSR . And it was brocken in late 1991. So if you start career in 1991, then in second season career will be wrong. So i think you'll need to make two databases - one with USSR and other with Russia, Kazakhstan etc.
If you need i can make some jerseys . Note that some of existing jersey for pcm 10 will look wrong in Pcm 12

I like the 1991 database of PCM09 a lot and would even consider buying PCM12 because of this database. I made a simple PCM11 variant (which still contains some bugs) and found that you get much more realistic starting fields if you reduce the amount of pro tour teams. Also if you use the old world cup system teams like BAnesto, ONCE and Castorama will relegate very easily. When there are only let say 15 pro tour teams these can still participate in most important races in 1992. More wildcards are given out automatically.

That's an interesting concept. But 1991 isn't a good year because of the ending of USSR, Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia. But it was what existed at time, so we have to try to stick with it as much realistic as it's possible, like the PCM09 one. And I think that's now possible to put USSR as a country and the ex-republics as regions inside it. |
